The hotel is set into the fabric of Nagano tradition, being at an original temple site. Nearby eateries to suit all tastes. Easy access to central Nagano on frequent bus routes to the main JR station and 600m downhill to the local Denetsu station at Zenkoji for a day out to Obuse.'
'The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and professional. One thing I found inconvenient was that they don't provide complimentary water, so if you want drinking water, you have to use a water dispenser in the lobby.'
'The on site Onsen natural baths, being able to choose either a private Onsen or alternative public baths, in the hotel. The private baths meant we could have the bath space to ourselves and wear a cosi! We were provided lovely fresh linen traditional robes, towels and footwear, fantastic traditional experience staying in this traditional Japanese accommodation, family run, with everyone being super helpful and friendly.
