Location is good, very close to Riverwalk acces For the rest, the hotel has had its best time. Also the lack of a fine bar in this type of hotel is a pitty.

Disappointed with the room and not being able to use the gold lounge as paid for. We were given credit for food and beverage due to lounge being under renovation but just didn’t feel like the fairmont experience as I’ve had in the past.

Room size was very spacious and well appointed with a nice view. The rooms themselves were quiet; there was a family with small kids next door and we could only hear them when they were in the hallways. Never heard a peep when in the rooms with the doors shut. Bathroom itself was large however, the individual shower was super small! Luckily my husband and I are small people because it was only about 3 ft x 3 ft if that, you could hardly turn around. Cleaning services did a great job and were very eager, but we had to call each day to have them come back to clean our room as they would come through around 8-9 AM. When on vacation we usually don't leave until around 10-11 and are out all day so it was a little annoying to have to call each day for the service because they were already done in our area that early. The highlight of the stay was the 15th floor Gold lounge. It was great! Lounge area open all day with food offered throughout the day with full breakfast and snacks throughout other periods in the day and water and sodas available all day. That was fantastic! We greatly enjoyed that feature! The hotel is in a nice/safe area. Within a short walking distance of The Bean, the shops on The Magnificent Mile and the best Giordano's in the Prudential building through the alleyway. Overall it was a great experience, just a few tweaks would've made it perfect!

Everyone of the employees was extremely helpful from the front desk to the cold lounge, and the bell hops went out of their way to welcome you. The room was great and roomy everything was very clean looking forward to staying again

Nice hotel with good location. A bit worn down but I heard from hotel staff that remodeling will start in summer 2023. Friendly staff. The “amenity fee” charged on top of everything else feels like something of a scam, though.

Better options for the price
The hotel is older than advertised and not in a great condition. The first room I checked in had a panel missing from the wall. The hotel was able to move me to another room that was ok, but a bit drafty. The bed is a smallish king (may have been a queen actually).

Everything was nice, but we do not eat pork and were mistakenly given pork at some point. This really ruined our mood. Even though it was an accident no compensation was given and this was really just not what we were expecting.

Family fun in great location
Great location and really enjoyed the Gold lounge access as a feature. There is an amenity fee for the hotel regardless of the package about$20. Really lovely stay.

Is it worth it?
I tried the gold level package and was greatly dissatisfied with what is actually received as compared to other properties and experiences in years past. Also, check in took a long time, my key stopped working twice, and I was charged random expenses. The front desk staff did try their best to rectify the situation. Ultimately, it wasn’t the peaceful layover that I had planned and I’m still monitoring my bank account to make sure the charges fall off.
