'We were told to be extra careful when we showered because the steam could trip the very sensitive fire alarm which we’d be charged $500 for if it went off. Place was clean due to what I imagine is fear of anyone moving or potentially making any sort of action which may trip the Fire Alarm. Mothman did not prophesize this.'

'Our stay here was cozy, homey, inviting, and perfect for a quiet and simple outing in the Ohio/West Virginia area.My wife and I were hoping for something within drive-able distance to Huntington and Point Pleasant while staying somewhere that had a small cabin feel (that wasn't a totally remote wilderness experience) and this place is perfect. The cabin itself was comfortable, the river lovely, location perfect for our needs, a nice accessible fire pit -- but the REAL treat was the hospitality....

'The cabin was very cozy and clean! The host was very welcoming and the breakfast each morning was great! The balcony had a great view of the river and beach. Overall it was a great experience. '

'Stayed for a wrestling tournament. There are no elevators to the second floor. There is smoking allowed in the hotel and someone was heavily smoking marijuana and stunk up my room. When I called front desk about it I was more or less told to deal with it because weed is legal. The room was disgusting. Cobwebs and fluids of some type on wall. Didn’t get room service for new towels I had to ask a housekeeper to get me some. She put some on sink but didn’t bother to take old towels or take out...

'Easy to find, easy to park. Flexible for a late check-in. The room is spacious and includes a fridge. Good working wifi in the room. In July the pool is open until 10 pm. Minor point: the breakfast doesn’t offer that much healty choices. Good value for money after all.'
