'The bar maid was very argumentative. We told her we had a reservation to which she informed us that they do not take reservation for less than 6 people. When the professional gentleman returned he took us to our table which had our room number on it. Furthermore, she proceeded to serve a tall, good looking man who approached the bar way after we had been standing a waiting.'

'Inchecken ging heel snel'

'Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. 'Verrassend mooie locatie met ruime kamer, lekker eten, leuk personeel en veel gezellige drukte'

'A warm welcome on arrival, lovely room with all facilities and a delicious cooked breakfast before we left. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to others '

'Long wait at check in. Airco downstairs, but room hot and no airco. Check out time 11.00. But at 10.30 they said we had 10 minutes. Airco unit of downstairs next to room window…. Unbelievable. A lot of noise. Awfull service of front desk. Mostly not occupied and you have to call an outside number with your cell. Best hotel of Colchester. What a Joke. '

'Recht toe, recht aan basic hotel. Goed genoeg voor 2 nachtjes ivm een bruiloft. Weinig tot geen faciliteiten alhoewel je wel gratis gebruik mag maken van de Gym naast het hotel. Restaurant niet gebruikt, wifi ontvangst goed en snel.'
