Winter Weekend

Great location and great house layout. The upstairs is perfect for all group gathering with the open concept kitchen/dining/living space. House was a little bare bones, kitchen could be better stocked with newer pots and pans, bedding needs updating as well as bath/shower towels.

Fun in Chelan

Spent my 50th birthday weekend here, amazing views, great layout for 3 couples. In Oct no sun in the yard or decks so bring warmer clothes...but just walk out the dock to find sun. Very quiet neighborhood, we didnt see or hear anyone else around. perfect for group meals & boatd games, hot

Better than expected!

Perfect location, and the yard itself was worth it. There is a beautiful dock and a great size yard for games. The lake was refreshing! It was a typical rental house with scrapes and stains here or there but that’s what you sign up for. The house was very clean. We brought beach towels and some lawn chairs based on prior reviews, glad we did. The silverware and dishes were well stocked. Parking was great! Would stay here again!

No dock (photos deceiving)

Hi there, good home. Overall we like the inside of the house. The dock photos and bathroom photos are real decieving. We went with our boat and launched before we got to the house, lesson learned, there was no dock and it was dismantled. Launching takes 30-45 minutes each time and then similar to loading up. With little kids it’s hard and it’s why we rented this house which Vacasa confirmed that there was on water moorage, they weren’t even aware the dock had been disassembled. On top of this, sheets and pillows missing from beds, second bathroom tore up from a dog it looked like, missing trim, master bathroom had an old old tub that would be very unsuitable for older guests as it’s extra high. Very cheap furniture (nice couches) but overall just looks like a very well used rental. Very disappointing with the dock, unless Vacasa reconciles this, we will strongly try to avoid their homes next time. Very few times you can get away, trying to make the most of it!

Property location and views are excellent. Interior is spacious and accommodated all 4 of us easily. Interior was clean, except carpets were stained (or dirty), and dishwasher appeared broken. Spiders were expected. Biggest disappointment was the hot tub (since lake water too cold for late Sept visit). Other reviews had warned us...

Location is beautiful, house needs some attention.

Dishes were put away dirty from last tenant and we had to wash everything before use. (This is not how I wanted to start my vacation.) The dishwasher had no top rack. There was not enough towels or silverware for our family of 6. House is nice, but covered in cobwebs, especially outside. The house has 2 patio chairs. This is not enough. Tons of bugs congregate off the master patio. Also the hot tub did not work. Even after the maintenance guy came it was cold. We enjoyed the home and location on the water. I hope some improvements can be made. We will be back to visit the amazing lake your situated on. Thank you.

Great location

House is a great setup for small family although some updates like new carpet and more kitchen supplies are needed (carpet very stained and only 6 forks total). The dishwasher was broken which was inconvenient. Location could not be better though with yard, dock and hot tub. Neighbors were quiet and the view is amazing.

Cold and Dingy

I would not recommend this house outside of the summer. We stayed in December for some fun Winter recreation. We arrived to a broken furnace, dingy house (stains on carpet and wrappers under furniture) and lacking amenities we expected to have. The wood stove has a sign in it that says do not use and it took 24 hours, many phone calls and a lot of waiting on hold to get the furnace fixed. There were no extra blankets, not enough towels or hot water and the fold out couch was not sleepable so one of our kids had to sleep on the floor because none of the air mattresses held air. No ball for the fooseball table or controllers for the XBOX. Overall, the location is great, and if you’re outside most of the day, it’s an okay place. But, definitely won’t choose it again.

Great older home for large family on lake. Only 5 minutes to town.

Great lay out for our family. Hot tub, larger lot size with grassy area and deck on the lake were key features for us. The only thing that wasn’t good was the water pressure. A few times we couldn’t shower or do dishes. With a 10am check-out that was a bit stressful. Owners may want to check on that problem. Suggestion for renters would be to bring outdoor floats. Also to bring outdoor chairs, there are only 4 small chairs to sit outside on. There were 6 of us. The grandparents came to visit for dinner, the picnic table isn’t moveable and unleveled, we ended up setting towels on the deck to sit on, to enjoy the outdoors. Also suggest bringing beach towels. The home only provided bath towels. Suggestion for Owners- home could use a good end season power wash. There are only 4 chairs outside. I’d suggest 4-6 additional chairs/lounge chairs (new or old) or an outdoor dining set would be nice for guests. Other than the random lack of water pressure we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Can't beat being right on the lake!

Plenty of good things to say about this place and a few room for improvements too. Sun exposure is excellent, you have sun all day until it goes behind the mountains around 8PM. And throughout the day there are always spots of shade for those that want to be out of the sun. Kitchen area/great room concept worked out really well especially with larger gatherings. Kitchen had plenty of space for prepping and was pretty well stocked other than kitchen towels. Those who slept downstairs said the beds weren't the best, I thought the bed in the master bedroom upstairs was fine. The room for improvements ... I sent 3 emails prior to our arrival to clarify a few things, didn't get a response to any of the emails. Check in was at 4 and cleaning was still there at 4:30. Cleaning actually didn't even finish cleaning. We had no towels in any of the bathrooms, found the towels in the dryer so had to fold laundry right away. The bbq wasn't cleaned and was out of propane, the cleaner said she'd submit a ticket to have someone come out. Two days later we hadn't heard anything so I called. The lady on the phone was very responsive and someone came out about 4 hours later, 30 minutes prior to when we planned on starting dinner. However, they brought a can of propane that's gas "cap" was screwed so tight we couldn't open it up. So we had to jump in the car and run into town went to a propane place and had to buy a new propane tank on our dime. Even with the room for improvements, the pros out weighed the cons, I'd be more than happy to stay there again.

Location and the fact that the house is right on the water was amazing. Layout of house worked great for our family. The house was not ready for check in time which was frustrating. House is not the cleanest house with spider webs on most windows, stains on carpets, etc. The house was also missing basic house items( blender, casserole dishes, broom, etc). Also hot tub was extremely dirty and took more than 24 hours to get it cleaned. Overall the house met our needs but the house could use some deep cleaning and additions.

Chelan Oasis

This place was more than we had hoped for! It was incredibly clean and surprisingly peaceful, despite being on a busy road. There were limited garbage bags and paper towels provided which isn't a big deal if you know ahead of time. Otherwise, we had no complaints and already booked our next vacation there. I also received over 10 requests from friends asking for the listing after I posted photos of our stay - it's a beautiful home and the steps into the lake were our children's favorite part. Thank you!

Not my favorite, but a good value on the water

I have stayed at many different homes in Chelan/Manson area, I would probably not return to this one again for a few different reasons. When we arrived at 1am, the key box was open and the key was in the door & the door was unlocked. Also, if you notice in the pictures there is a boat lift, well it doesn’t work and when I contacted VRBO about it, they said it wasn’t listed in the amenities and therefore not included for use in the property. When I asked where we could park our boat, I did not receive an answer until 5am two days later. By then we had already “borrowed” a buoy from the neighbors overnight. We only stayed for two days, so it wasn’t a big deal and the fact it was during the week in the off season made it easier/less crowded as well. The house was overall in good condition, there were a lot of cobwebs/spider webs on the porch area that I felt could have been removed during the clean up process. The hot tub was nice, except one of the jets was malfunctioning and spraying water across the hot tub if the jets were turned on a certain setting. One of the sleep number beds in the downstairs bedroom malfunctions and will deflate one side overnight. That would have been a bigger issue had we been staying longer, but we just made the best of it. Bottom line, nice house, great view, but I feel like the amenities need to be improved upon to be more on level with the other homes in the area.
