Nice property, excellent location. The house had tons of amenities and was very clean. They had a bunch of kayaks and a small paddle boat that everyone enjoyed using daily. Property had plenty of room for the kids to play. The next door neighbor was great and offered us the use of her kayaks as well. Great property that my family all enjoyed very much.I was very disappointed at the 275 pet fee for a 3 1/2 day stay especially since I took the optional extra insurance for damages, but it was disclosed in the listing, so it wasn't unexpected. Bring lots of water for coffee and drinking as the water is from a well and filtered but tastes and smells like lake water- not horrible at all but be aware.

Great place

Very happy with our stay. It was a secluded location with a beautiful lake view. Lots of open, comfortable space in the house. Using the kayaks was a huge plus. Great time.

Chazy Vacay

This property worked well for us as we have family in the area. We all enjoyed the lake and use of kayaks and paddle boat. We also used the gas grill for a cookout and the bar seating worked perfectly for our meals.

Beautiful view

My boyfriend and I had a very relaxing time in John's home. We had everything we needed. We lit up the fire pit every night and just enjoyed the view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Its location was ideal, with the lake being just 50 yards away from the back door. It is also situated within driving distance from both the Adirondacks and Green Mountains, both of which we took advantage of on side trips during peak foliage season. It was also perfect for our vizsla, who enjoyed long walks in the neighborhood. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Just what we needed

Clean and accommodating. Not far from SUNY Plattsburgh. The fog on the crystal lake was a nice reminder to slow down and enjoy a cup of coffee each morning.

Clean, nice house on the lake

The house was very clean and as listed. We appreciated the ceiling fans in every room, as it was quite hot during our stay. The lake is beautiful and it was nice to be able to use the kayaks.

Property was clean, right on the water, had quiet and privacy. Very enjoyable and relaxing vacation

Landlord was very accommodating and easy to communicate with, and welcomed us as soon as we arrived to make sure we were all set.

This house is in a quiet walkable neighborhood. Very clean inside and out. Easy 1 hour drive to Montréal for nice day trip. Ferry to Vermont also nearby. State Beach 10 minutes away although water was warm very shallow. House had water access but best to wear water shoes as the shoreline seems to have receded a bit. Great vacation.My dog had a great time also.

Love Lake Champlain!

We were pleased with our stay. The house is new with everything you would expect in a new house. The yard is in need of a couple more seasons of work before it becomes a true lakeside gem.

Relaxation and fun paradise

Right on the lake with gorgeous views. We loved the covered porch, the kayaks, the fire pit, ( except the ashes need to be emptied out regularly, I don’t think they ever were) we loved the house and the openness of it, it was a bird lovers sanctuary, the bedrooms were nice. The neighbor was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Beautiful sunsets

The house was beautifully set on Champlain lake. We loved spending evenings around the fire overlooking the lake. The neighbor was very hospitable. The house was clean and came with all needed amenities. It was a plus having two kayaks.

Lake side break

Located in a quite lakeside residential neighborhood. Great room ( living room, kitchen, dining room perfect for gathering as a family. Covered patio facing lake, perfect for breakfast time. Waterfront/ outdoor area ideal for kayaking and SUP. Bathrooms are spacious, modern and clean. Primary bedroom bed is comfortable.
