Three-person girls trip for a long weekend, and it was a lovely experience. The single off-street parking spot was very close and convenient. The rooms were clean, had modern charm over the underlying historical feel of the building, and we especially loved the large kitchen for gathering. The larger bathroom off the master bedroom was easy to share...lots of room to spread out toiletries (which is rare), and a deep tub for some luxury soaking. Plenty of towels provided (also rare). They did a great job with truth in advertising...yes, it's quite loud overnight on weekends being right off King Street (bring earplugs!) and, yes, the stairs may feel tricky for some. But the location was a reasonable tradeoff for these things. So many great restaurants and stores within a 5-10 minute walk, with easy and attractive access through the quieter backstreets to avoid the construction along King. We were able to walk to the more popular heart of historical downtown with a fairly relaxed 30 minute walk, and there are a decent number of parking garages around as well. We also got very quick and helpful responses to a couple of pre-trip questions. Thanks for a lovely stay!
