Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

I loved this place, I went to Charleston for a show at the music Hall and it was the best location, easy to walk everywhere.. The place was spotless and adorable! Neighbors were very noisy until early hours of the morning with music, yelling, etc. I imagine they were in college I will still stay there every time I go. I loved it! Highly recommend

The check in process was very easy and the property manager was very helpful. The parking was a downfall for us as the complementary spot was about a half a mile walk from where the car was left to the property. The place was very clean and cute and the location was very good!

The place was cute and clean. Good location. Though it should be in bold about the whole parking situation. It’s farther than someone would think. The bed was not comfortable. Had divets on both sides! The toilet would run water, unless you would jiggle the handle. The door never locked for us. So we ended up leaving the place unlocked duringThe day. Just too confusing….

This property was exactly as advertised. A great distance from king st, responsive host, and they had a locked space to keep luggage before check in time which was a life saver! Would recommend this VRBO!

Quaint and Cute!

The rainbow suite was the perfect accommodation for a quick stay in Charleston. Walking distance to everything; located a few short blocks from King Street, well maintained and had everything you need. Would definitely stay again!

Mixed feelings

Pros: this property was within walking distance of everything for downtown Charleston. It was clean, comfortable, and charming. The owner had great communication, and the neighborhood felt safe. Cons: the walls were extremely thin. The first two nights, we were woken up multiple times by a crying baby in the room next to us. The last night, the neighbors had a party with outside karaoke, drunken college students, and tons of noise. We got very little sleep, and it hardly made for the romantic getaway, we were hoping for. I wish the property manager would hare provided a noise machine.

Very cute place in a great area, but very loud.

The place was very cute and comfortable. We loved the proximity to King St and were impressed with the prompt responses from the property manager. Noise was a very big issue for us. This is on older property therefore we could hear the people in the other unit like they were sitting right next to us. The other tenants left loud music blaring for hours and then proceed to stay up all night. You could also hear all the cars on the street. The owner left a white noise machine, but I definitely recommend packing ear plugs. Despite the noise, I would still recommend this property.

Accurate pix, this place really is very tidy and cute!

This unit is fairly compact, a small entryway/kitchen combo, leading into a bedroom with bath...basically, all we needed and nothing we didn't. If you are a couple (or by yourself), only requiring a place to sleep/shower/get a morning bite before heading out, this place works out quite well. You get a coffee maker and coffee, a toaster, microwave (we didn't use it), fridge, plates, cups and silverware. At a grocery store, we picked up creamer, bread and jam, and bottled water, and that held us over great for our 3 night stay. Very comfortable bed, and their 2 ductless mini-splits kept the temps comfortable. Bathroom was quite adequate, and the shower was nice albeit slightly low on the water pressure, but no biggie. Mainly, everything was very tidy, and we're a BIG fan of that wherever we stay. As far as noise goes, we lucked out that the people next door were fairly quiet. We only heard somebody upstairs one evening, very loud footsteps, but I suspect that was the property owner cleaning up the place. They left around 9pm, and we were worried them coming back after the bars closed would suck royally, but nope, didn't hear anything. I recommend bringing ear plug for sleeping, just in case. The only reason for my 4/5 star rating is the parking situation. Not a slam on this place at all, just a fact that it's a bit of a hike to the parking garage a few blocks down the street by the visitor center.

Perfect Stay!

The apartment is bright and very charming with high ceilings, very cute! It is about 2 blocks from the center of king street which was perfect for our visit, we were able to walk everywhere. Would definitely stay again!

Mississippi Stay

Overall, a very nice place to stay. Clean, easy in and out, walking distance to everything, however, no parking. At first we thought that was going to be a problem, but a parking garage was within three blocks and we made that work. This location is at the back end of the building and you have other renters above you and next to you. Upstairs renters on hardwood floors became a little loud, however, the owner took care of it immediately. Kudos! I would recommend this location.

great location

Very cute, updated place in a great, walkable location. The bedroom was large and bright with a very comfortable bed. Just a few things missing that would be helpful, such as a wine opener and more than 3 coffee pods, but we found a grocery store near by. I think this place is perfect for 1-2 people.
