'Great stay. A friendly and service oriented owner and staff. A cozy 11 unit hotel with a nice pool. It’s not luxury but it’s a clean and comfortable hotel. Very nice breakfast. Not huge variety b/c it’s a small hotel but the quality is fine. Short walk to the main beach in Nazaré. About a 40 minute walk over to north beach and the big wave surf museum in the old fort. 'Midden in de bergen ligt het hotel op 1,3 km van een dorpje, gebouwd van het lokale leisteen. De bergen zijn met gebouwde terrassen geschikt gemaakt voor weide en hier en daar een akkertje, best steil. Veel motorrijders houden van de bochtige rustige bergweggetjes en bezoeken ook Piodao. Staatshotel dat eens heel modern was, met verwarmd zwembad en gym gratis.'

'The hotel was nothing short of beautiful.The receptionist was very accomidating, nice and helpfull. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel resturant, and on top of the tasty dinner with unique dishes of the area, staying at the hotel will earn you a 10 percent discount at the resturant. The river right next to the hotel was a great and fun place to hangout with family and their was a very easy access to it through the hotel. Would definently recomend a stay here.'
