Spahotels in Central San Diego

'We had a room on the 8th floor which was spacious and clean. We did have some airco noise and weird knocking noise from the elevator shaft (we think) which was annoying at night. Pool was nice and location was good for watersports and running. Restaurant has great staff but menu is limited. The gym was crowded in the morning but really quiet in afternoon.'

'We booked two rooms and they smelled really bad like mildew. We ended up moving rooms and it also smelled just not as bad. We ended up not using one room because they put us two buildings apart and we couldn't be that far away from eachother for medical reasons so we wasted the price of one room. I recommend finding another hotel.'

'My daughter and I were in town for Comic Con this year (2026) and needed a nice hotel to stay in which was close to the convention center: the Omni at the Ballpark certainly fit that bill. (I am a writer and had a booth at the convention.) We found the servers at the Fres.co (breakfast) and at Tortuga (lunch) to be very kind (the staff in general was eager to please). 'This property is a beautiful complex. Lovely grounds, nice pool, nice restaurants, upscale rooms. That said, it’s expensive. Food and drinks on site are delicious but a bit overpriced. For example, the breakfast buffet is $45 a person without any alcoholic beverages and cocktails at the pool are around $20. We went there for our honeymoon and it was a very nice homebase for the week. Easy trip into the town of La Jolla to eat or into San Diego or Temecula wine country or even across the border...
