Cozy Log Cabin - Walk to Lake Huron!

Nature awaits. Enjoy the tranquility of a private property with loads of amenities including a firepit, gas bbq, washer/dryer, large deck & gazebo, gas fireplace, wood stove, hammock & more. The cabin sleeps 6 adults comfortably and offers incredible charm. Black's Point Beach is a 7 min walk. Enjoy Lake Huron’s famed sunsets, or plan day trips to one of the neighbouring towns (Bayfield, Goderich or Blyth). Cross listed on Cottages in Canada & Air b nb.

Note: Loft is accessed by a spiral staircase and may not be suitable for small children or people with mobility issues.

Please note: The cottage is in a rural/wooded area. We take all precautions available to keep pests at bay however during the spring and summer there will be mosquitos, black flies and other bugs outside. In the colder months we hire a pest control company to keep mice out but on occasion there have been signs of mice. Guests should keep food in the cupboards.

Great place/ property to hang out with my family. The cabin was very cosy and had very comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped and there were so many nostalgic games to play. Had a very large private yard with a gazebo. It was a fun place and close to lot of things to do in town.

We (2) visited the property in January. It offers so much more than we could have done in 2 days. Next time we will book for longer. It is a gorgeous property. We enjoyed the woodstove. We brought lots of things with us that we didn't need to as the place has everything you can think of in the kitchen, bathroom etc. We could imagine a larger group for a fun summer family getaway. We just wanted a nice quiet weekend to read and explore and this cottage was perfect. The interior is so home-y and comfortable and has everything possible that you would need. Great location to go into town for dinner or walk around a quiet neighborhood. 10/10

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The cottage was just the right size, cozy and warm and had everything we could possibly need. We were 4 adults, two teens, and two small dogs. We had plenty of space for all of us. The beach and sunsets were magical. We enjoyed the fire pit each night for S’mores and laughs. We are already planning our next visit. We stayed here for a long weekend with our two little dogs. The cabin was very comfortable and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. A short drive to Goderich and Bayfield and local stores. We really enjoyed the wood burner and the big garden with table and chairs to have meals outside. Highly recommend.

Leslie and Steve have a beautiful cottage and couldn’t be welcoming! We had a fantastic week and have already booked again. There is nothing that they haven’t thought of, everything you need… was a nice thing to only have to pack food and clothes! Right down to the thoughtful note, tulips and honey as a welcome gift! Having all the wood chopped and ready for use was a plus, we usually have to do our own.. think one of my favourite little details ( which they are many) is the clock set outside at 5:00.. it’s always 5:00 somewhere 😉Thank you again for for the use of your most amazing, clean cottage.. looking forward to coming back 😊

A fantastic Moms Getaway!

A Cozy Cabin Getaway
A beautiful family getaway with our small dogs. What a great welcoming start to our vacation, to be greeted with a welcome note and a jar of local honey. The property is exactly as advertised. A wonderful supply of dry hardwood firewood made for cozy evenings. Close to all amenities.

Quaint cottage that has everything you need
This cottage has everything you need while being rustic and charming. Our family was able to enjoy some must needed rest after a busy Christmas. There are lots of movies and games. We especially enjoyed the fireplaces to keep us cozy and warm.

This charming log home was beautiful and very comfortable on a gorgeous park like lot. . It is a ten minute walk to a great beach on Lake Huron. The house is incredibly well stocked and the instructions from the host were the best ever.
