2 w bedroom, sleeps 6. 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and sofa bed. Short walk to beach .3 miles. In house AC units and washer/dryer. Great backyard to grill and enjoy. Approximately 2 1/2 miles to Hyannis Center and ferries to Nantucket and 1 1/2 miles to Kennedy Compound. Near Centerville River and freshwater kayaking and fishing areas. Nice, private back yard suitable for games, children, etc. Wonderful biking trails a short distance. Close to the Hyannis mall and the cute quaint town of Osterville. Comes with Beach Pass.

There is a 3 night minimum per stay. Check-in is 4 pm and check-out time is 10:00 AM.
There is ample parking for multiple cars, wifi, trash pickup weekly on property.
No smoking and no pets allowed.

Additionally, linens included. A great place to relax, enjoy, and rejuvenate.

Vakantiehuisje in de buurt van het strand

Typisch Amerikaans vakantiehuisje in de buurt van de stranden op Cape Cod en dichtbij Hyannis. Het huisje ligt in een woonwijk waarbij je wel een auto nodig hebt om o.a. boodschappen te doen. Huisje heeft alles maar is verder eenvoudig ingericht. Handig is de strandpas die je krijgt om gebruik te kunnen maken van het privéstrand in de buurt. Helaas zijn de strandstoelen wel aan vervanging toe.

The house is in a great spot, very close to the beach and other amenities. Plenty of space. Great yard. Could have been a little cleaner and had a regular coffee pot, but otherwise it was super comfortable!

Could use a new cleaning crew!

Window left ajar prior to our arrival raising security issue, no sheets for pull out couch, dirty towels, no soap for dishwasher, clogged drains, several electrical outlets inoperable - these issues were all brought up to the concierge. Some were corrected, some were not. Place was just generally not clean. Description of property inside and out were accurate. Location was as described.

Not impressed with cleanliness

This property had a 8.6 cleanliness rating though on arrival we struggled to come to terms with this. We needed to get disinfectant wipes to clean the toilet before our child could use it as there were bodily fluid stains still visible. The kitchen surfaces were sticky and on cleaning it ourselves just dark residue came off. After the first night I came out in a rash, and my child and husband developed similar rash and leaions the following day: These lesions are still present, I will report if this turns out of be something notifiable (we are both Drs). My parents used the other room with the two twins and reported that as the beds felt like they hadn’t been washed they laid clean sheets (brought from home just in case given we had a child) and did not use any of the provided linen- this seems to have spared them the same itching symptoms. The dining chairs were so filthy my child didn’t want to sit on them. Again absolutely baffled as how this place has a 8.6 cleanliness rating- we are well travelled and not novices! Had this not been the once a year trip with my parents and us flying in from the UK, I would have left. We felt we had no choice but ride out the storm as all our other activities had been paid for and non refundable.

Nous avons trouvé l’endroit agréable et assez grand pour 5 adultes. C’est un peu vieux, mais qua d-même propre. Beaucoup de règlements pour le départ considérant les frais chargés pour le nettoyage. Aussi, nous aurions aimé savoir que nous devions apporter le nécessaire pour laver et essuyer la vaisselle et que seulement une débarbouillette par adulte était fournie pour le séjour de 3 nuits!! Et l’absence de compostage et de recyclage, on en parlera pas!

This is our second year in a row staying at this house!! We love the location and how it is convenient to everything. The house is well decorated and a great back yard!! My girls call this their beach house now!! Lou is great and gets back to you very quickly and very pleasant!! We just left and already planning for next year!!

Great stay

Cute house very close to the beach. Few minute drive to multiple attractions as well as shopping and restaurants. Owner quickly responds to any and all questions. House was very clean and accommodating. Beds were especially comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!!!

I arrived at the house to an overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke. The house was supposed to be non-smoking, but it clearly wasn’t. The smell was a mix of smoke and ammonia and made it very difficult to breathe. Moreover, the windows in the sun room couldn’t be locked due to a broken latch, and therefore I couldn’t leave my things in the house without risk of someone breaking in. I never ended up spending the night in the house as it couldn’t be locked and the smell was just awful. After telling the host about these issues, he at first offered a full refund, but then the next day his wife wrote back saying that they had 3 different people go into the house and they couldn’t smell the smoke over the ammonia… are you kidding me? First of all, they broke the law by coming into the house on 3 different occasions without notifying the tenant at least 24 hours in advance. Either you give a refund and then go into the house to see what’s wrong, or you have to abide by the law. Upon finding out that multiple people were in the house during the period that was supposed to be my stay and tenancy, I called the police to come and make sure nothing was stolen or broken. These hosts are the kind of people that would try and blame something they or their cleaners did on the renter, so I wanted to protect myself. The officer walked into the house and stopped short due to the smell. He looked around and sniffed the foul odor, and then turned to me and said, “wow… that’s some kind of smell. Smoke mixed with ammonia.” I recorded the officer’s visit and even sent the video to the hosts to prove that I wasn’t the only one who thought the house smelled awful, but the hosts still wrote back that they disagreed. So even though the officer verified the broken window lock and awful smoke smell, they still refused to refund my money. These hosts broke the law and then decided to keep my money! VRBO contacted them and told them to refund me for the nights that I didn’t stay (all of them), but the hosts decided to only refund 1/2. I ended up having to stay at a motel nearby, and spent double on my trip due to the dishonest hosts, Lou and his wife. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM! THE HOUSE IS NOT WHAT THEY PROMISE! Unless they put, “disgusting, stale smoke smelling home for rent, that can’t be locked and secured” in their listing, then they are lying and misrepresenting the property. Literally rent any other property than this one.

Close to the beach!

Great place to spend a few days by the beach. Checking on the first day at 4pm, so we went to the beach the first day and left our car at the house in the driveway. Lou was gracious to let us do so. The walk is fairly close, though if you’re carrying things seems a lot farther than it really is. Upon checking, we found Lou had left a beach parking pass for us, which was amazing! We drove down to the beach each day with that, without having to lug things around or pay extra for parking. Accommodations were nice for our party of 3. Overall nice experience.

Awesome owner and area

Our first time staying in cape cod and we already want to return next year!! House was conveniently located to just about everything. No more than a short drive to shopping, food and beaches. Lou was great with communicating with and very responsive to all our questions!! Beaches are absolutely lovely and food was amazing!! Beautiful Hyannis is about 5 minute drive. Would recommend this property to anyone especially with children area is very kid friendly

Inside seemed better in pictures but place was clean. Outdoor shower wouldn't shut and no latch to lock it. Beach chairs were filthy and unusable. Shouldn't advertise things that can't be used.
