'Hot tub was perfect, very relaxing. Rooms were clean and spacious and modern. Host was very helpful. '

'There was less comfort in the room. Examples: 1. Window could not be opened (broken rope), 2. carpet worn out, 3. iron not performing optimally, 4. doorlock from inside not stable, 5. shower equipment not properly tightened, 6. too much noise at ceiling level from other guests, 7. wifi signal too weak in the room, 8. room not properly cleaned when arriving.'

'Hotel and room were clean. Some scuff marks on corridor paintwork and doors. Other guest were noisy and a lot of traffic noise if you leave the window open. Breakfast good choice but hot meal a little cold and my sausages were undercooked. However plenty of choice. Staff seemed a little disorganized but we're pleasant and helpful. Parking was good at £4 per day. Location excellent to AI and M62 so easy access when leaving. Short taxi ride into town and fairs excellent.'

'No local parking, had to walk a fair distance, not a nice area, won't be back'

'Great location, close to City Centre. All mod cons. Cosy but warm.'

'Maybe used to be Opulent but no more. Tough check-in and key difficult to use. Smell in corridor was disgusting mixture of various cuisines. Room needed serious maintenance'

'Great stay. Lovely clean rooms with great views. Very nice breakfast and friendly and helpful host. And pub with good food (and prices) just a stone's throw away. Would highly recommend.'
