Secluded-Log Cabin-In Town Cashiers-Pet -Friendly!

Nestled in the woods, among holly, pine, hemlock, Rhododendron and mountain laurel. The Sportsman log cabin is upscale, cozy, private and located 4/10 of a mile from the crossroads of highway 107 and 64 in Cashiers. It is a mountain retreat where you are in the woods but close to restaurants, antique shopping, hiking, golf and amenities.

A log cabin, with an open living area, vaulted ceiling, one king bed and full bath downstairs. Upstairs offers 2 twin beds with 1/2 bath and a sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped also with a washer and dryer.

The Gazebo is yours to relax and use for gatherings, it has plenty of seating and has a gas grill.

The area of Cashiers offers waterfalls, panoramic views and great hiking. Here you can enjoy a private mountain getaway, or an action packed adventure. Mountain biking, fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, golf, and snow tubing here in Cashiers.

This cozy cabin nestled in the woods was just the getaway we needed. It was well-equipped and comfortable, with a beautiful stone, working , wood fireplace, front porch, gazebo, comfy beds, and was impeccably clean. Uncomplicated on-site parking situation was very convenient . It was stylish and comfortable and , and private without feeling isolated.

We loved our cozy Thanksgiving visit in the cabin. The most perfect getaway we've had in a long time. Cabin wonderfully decorated in a rustic, homey fashion, all furniture around the fireplace so very comfortable, and the bed was fantastically comfortable! Kitchen thoroughly stocked, every detail seen to. Bathroom warm and cozy. Honestly, everything perfect! Our only disappointment was not being able to use the fireplace because it was too bitter cold to turn off the heat, an odd requirement. And many thanks to the owner for giving me all the info I needed to order a wonderful Thanksgiving meal from the stellar Farmers Market. Thank you so much for everything!! Can't wait to come back!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Great get away for a family of 4 (2.5yr old and 6 month old in tow). The cabin was very relaxing, the fireplace cozy, the kitchen well equipped, and all in all a great stay!

The cabin was perfect for us. The house had a cozy feel and a fireplace with wood available for us. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The front porch and swing were a place we enjoyed sitting. We even played darts at the gazebo. We weren’t far from restaurants, grocery stores and hiking. We enjoyed the local chili cookoff and the locals were nice. We were attending a wedding but had a very nice getaway as well. Charlene was great to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again and maybe even rent her cabin next door as well for friends or family.

The cabin’s location is amazing - so close to town you could walk if you’d like (no sidewalks most of the way but definitely possible). The cabin is literally in the middle of the forest and is quiet and cozy. We stayed with our two children (2 and 3) and two dogs. The cabin met our needs. The only thing to be aware of if you’re a parents is that there is not a bathtub and the second bedroom is a loft style so once the children are asleep you can’t hang about in the kitchen/living room (if your children are like ours and need quiet). It’s quite dark inside the cabin because of the tree coverage so we never really knew what the weather was like outside until we got out of the forest - so just be aware that it may not be as cloudy as you think! Lastly, the internet is very slow so recommend downloading shows/movies if you plan to watch them at night! Overall this cabin was perfect for our long weekend stay and we were so happy to be there!

Clean, very well equipped, comfortable bed, great location, excellent Wi-Fi, prompt responsive communication from host and helpful clear instructions inside. We stayed two weeks for a "work-cation" in cooler weather. The only reason we didn't give it five stars is the lack of bright lighting in the main area since we were working from the kitchen table, but that wouldn't affect most people.

This cabin has a perfect location in cashiers. It is tucked away but yet so close to downtown trails and fishing. It is beautifully decorated, and the place was extremely clean.
