Over deze accommodatie

Adorable Oceanfront Cottage. Plan your trip to Paradise Island today!

  • When I walked through the doors of this home for the first time I was taken aback by all the old style charm this home has. You will find knotty pine in the living area. An open space for you and your family to enjoy time around the house or you can escape to rest and relax in one of the four bedrooms. The house comes with two full baths (one has a standup shower you can dance in the other has a tub/shower combo!). The porches are great too. Sit on the ocean side and go back in time to when the hustle and bustle of life was not the extent it is today. You will hear the waves rolling in and just in time you can take a walk on your private deck to the sand. If you fancy lying in the sun, there is plenty of deck and chairs for you to do this too. And like my sister always says..."we never eat inside" so I've put a full dining set on the front porch for you to enjoy. The back porch facing the road is where you will get your sunsets and be ready for them. They are amazing. You will enjoy an old time boardwalk, great sand, huge beach and within walking distance to nightlife, games, and everything that there is to enjoy about CB. Especially Britt's Doughnuts! Wow..

    The bedrooms consist of:
    #1. King Size Bed
#2. Two Full Size Bunk Beds
    #3. Two Queen Size Beds
    #4. Twin Bed

This was our second time staying there and both time we had a great experience. We had a dog with us, it was very pet friendly and the fenced in area was great for the dog to not be on a leash. Definitely looking to stay there again next year.

The family enjoyed our stay. This is our 2nd time staying on the cottage house. It is convenient if you have little children as the beach is right in front of the house. There is a new swing on the back and the kids loved it. It is also now fenced in so it made the place more safe. We would definitely come back again.

Rebecca’s home was clean, beautiful, cozy, and ideally located near everything at Carolina Beach, especially the beach itself! The house was laid out comfortably for 5 adults, with large bedrooms, a massive couch to relax on at night and a roomy kitchen. We spent hours reading on the back porch, enjoyed the cornhole set up in the fenced back yard, and of course, very much appreciated the easy access to the beautiful beach! The wrap around porch and gated walkways worked well for our two miniature schnauzers. Having the use of a propane grill was a big bonus, as was the use of the double garage for our cars. We walked to coffee and Brits donuts many mornings and to dinner in the evening. This was our first time at Carolina Beach and we were impressed with the walkability and character of the town and, especially, how clean and gorgeous the beach is. Rebecca was an incredibly responsive host and it was clear that she cares a great deal about this house. We all agreed that we hope to stay here again! We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful sunrise and great location!

Everything we could need (great appliances) and really nice back porch with private walkway to the dunes and ocean front. Walking distance to the canal and restaurants etc…really enjoyed our stay! Watched some beautiful sunrises and also enjoyed the front porch too. Favorite time of year at the beach lots of sun without the humidity. Highly recommend the drive to Michaels Seafood though, so good and “Island Burgers” bacon cheeseburgers are 5 Stars!!

Beach cottage like I remember

Roomy home, peaceful back deck with view of dunes and sea oats, private walkway to a wide beach, knotty pine paneling in the family area like I remember beach cottages having when I was young, nice appliances, everything we needed to have a great week at the beach. A 10 minute walk to Britts donuts for breakfast and live music and fireworks on Thursday nights. Nice neighbors who own the house their grandfather built in 1930's.
