'A lovely pub with a stunning beer garden and direct access to the canal path for walks to Carnforth Morecambe and Lancaster. Only issue was the heat in the room which I appreciate it was unusually hot but room 3 also has a large noisy extractor fan outside the window so it was either heat or noise. The fan does get turned off at night. Would still stay again and the food was excellent.'

'The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans.
Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception.
Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!'

'Really nice caravan on a lovely site with pool. We really enjoyed our stay, the caravan is very well stocked with everything you need for a weekend away, very thoughtfully done. Very clean and communication excellent. Would definitely recommend. '

'What a magical 2 night stay! Surpassed expectations. Room was A*, clean and spacious. The castle was elegant and homely. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Food was exceptional also. Would highly recommend and will certainly visit again! '

'The room was clean and the breakfast was good
The only issue was the stairs to the room as our room was on the 3 floors there were a lot of stairs to climb and we both OAP which was very tiring.
On the hold it was a good experience but we would not stay again due to the stairs.'
