'Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area.'

'Standard of Hotel is high and loved communal Lounge and kitchen but did miss having personal contact as no reception. Had booked a Standard double with a Court yard view to find there was no such view as window had opaque glass also very disappointed to find window sealed so unable to have any fresh air into room so no natural ventilation .A fan is provided but not the same. Would stay again but only if a room with natural ventilation was available. I do believe this should be made clear in...

'Disappointing one night stop over. Its more of a business traveller, conference & private events venue than a country house hotel. Suite 15 is directly opposite the kitchen extractor fan which is on from before 5.00am until the kitchen closes at night & can easily be heard in the room. The room only had one bedside table & lamp, the glazed entrance is fitted with opaque glass & is the only window so there is no view. If you could see out you would be looking at the car park. 'While the room was cheap it wasn’t very clean the shower was filthy the windows was filthy the vinyl the soap dispensers was very dirty, had a hand towel with the edges all frailed at the ends no light as you come out the room onto the landing I was left a soft brown banana that was left for the breakfast two days in a row and a slight brown apple . The breakfast sandwich was a cold defrosted bacon and sausage sandwich with the date it was frozen or defrosted on it I can’t remember. I’ve stayed...
