Step into an Oasis of style, comfort and privacy in the heart of this most charming wine country.

Perhaps the most ideal location in the Willamette Valley for couples, families and friends visiting Wine Country. Inspired by award winning designer Kim Morris of Morris Design, Inc., Carlton Gates is unlike any accommodation in the area.
Not remotely situated, Carlton Gates is in the middle of everything yet secluded from everyone. Within walking (or biking!) distance of charming downtown Carlton's many Tasting Rooms and new Swimming Pool while still centrally located to area Wineries and Scenic Vineyards.

Featuring a spacious kitchen with large island and gas fireplace for guests to gather round that opens to the Great Room where good company continues among friends. Have an elegant dinner together in the dining room with built in buffet and then move outdoors to enjoy two patio areas each with their own firepit. Feeling contemplative?....take a stroll around the back courtyard or enjoy a bottle of wine in the corner Adirondack Settee under a Blue Spruce.

If your group wants to enjoy a movie in the theater, it will feel like their own private screening with a 70 inch screen and surround sound. When it's time for bed, you can go your separate ways into two Master Suites, Guest Bedroom and Second Guest Bedroom. Two additional guests are accommodated on a comfy pullout sofa sleeper in the theater. The Two Master Suites and First Guest Bedroom each have their own outside private sitting area with bistro table and chairs.

The spacious kitchen and large island provided more than enough room for preparing our Christmas feast and gathering together throughout the day. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the showers felt like a resort-level retreat—such a treat after long days of family time and festivities.One evening, our family took a walk down the street to enjoy the Christmas lights, which added an extra layer of magic to our stay. We were also lucky to meet Cindy from the cleaning crew, who was so welcoming and pleasant—it truly made us feel at home.This home exceeded our expectations, and we will absolutely be back next year. Property was very nice. Loved the layout and the multiple seating areas depending on whether you are looking for privacy or for being together. Management contact was immediately responsive to questions while on property and someone was on site within the hour when we needed help. From the description I thought this was a pre-planned, enclosed community of houses that included a pool and would be easy to bike around. I never saw a pool (it was too cold the days we were there anyway) and I wouldn’t have felt safe biking into town on such a busy road/highway. But the walk to town was easily doable by everyone in our group. Overall, a great property for our group that was more generous than most with availability of coffee, spices, oils, sweeteners so you don’t have to go to the store for every little thing. We would stay here again.

Amazing home

This home has everything you could ever need. Very clean and very comfortable. We couldn't get the TV to work in the TV room so maybe some better instruction of how to use the universal remote would help. This really isn't even a complaint because each of the other TV's worked with the Comcast remote. We had an amazing stay. Quiet neighborhood, bikes available to ride and we loved having a small fire on the fire table. If you have a dog or small children, be aware that the yard is only fenced on 2 sides.

Great home base for exploring

A group of friends spent two nights here enjoying the space and the solitude. This is an excellent house for 4-6 individuals or couples. 4 nice rooms and a couple of couches if you need them. The kitchen is fantastic—nice cruiser bikes to explore the town and very nice furnishings for a relaxing experience.
