'Hotel is goedkoop, wij betaalden EUR 26 voor 2 personen (zonder ontbijt). Maar het comfort is niet best. Wij hadden de laatste kamer in de rij. Het was hier heel warm en niet af te koelen ondanks 2 ventilatoren. We hebben weining geslapen, maar het is wel een enorm goedkoop alternatief. Wellicht beter uit te houden wanneer je een van de eerste kamers hebt. '

'The staff at this hotel are nothing short of incredible. They go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and taken care of. We did all the tours with their partner Tuanis Tours and found the guides knowledgeable and fun. All the tours went on a little longer because the guides were determined to make sure we saw all animals possible. They even made the tours enjoyable the few times we got caught in the rain. 'This was a one night stopover for an early 7am flight out of Limon. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room had a balcony with a water view. Shower was good and hot and bed was comfortable. Even made up fruit and juice as we left before breakfast. Recommended. We would definitely stay here again.'

'We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The location, the room, the pool, the staff were all very good. We saw some very negative and very positive reviews and so we were very curious about how our stay would be. We are Marriott Platinum Elite Members and this property is not one of the finer Marriott properties, but it could have been a nice Marriott property with all of the amenities. We were very pleasantly surprised. We will stay here again.'

'Die Zimmer waren wirklich sehr schön und die Lage direkt am Fluss. Natürlich toll. Leider ist von der Architektur her das Hotel ein wenig umständlich geplant dich bei räumen sehen eigentlich aus wie eine Kantine und sind innen ohne Blick auf den Fluss, während Aussichtspunkte und das Pool am Fluss legen und damit eigentlich eine schöne Sicht haben. Etwas kompliziert ist es an und abfahren immer mit den Booten, weil sie eben unzuverlässig fahren. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und teilweise...

'Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights...
