Lieflijk hotel met uitstekende service
We waren met een jong gezin op doorreis naar het zuiden van Europa. Carcassonne is een mooie stad en dit hotel past daar helemaal bij. Het is een klein, knus en gezellig hotel. De service van de de staf is perfect.

Owner operator was very pleasant. The hotel was dated but clean. The recommendation on the restaurant was not a very good one. Other than that it was fine for the price the bed was comfortable and I did like the pillows.

Séjour en famille. Hôte très prévenant. Hôtel très calme qui a une âme. La bâtisse est très belle. L intérieur est aménagé comme autrefois avec des meubles anciens en bois de la moquette....notre séjour a été fort agréable.

Easy To Park, Quaint Hotel
Our experience of Carcassonne was not what we had hoped mostly due to the torrential rain that made sight seeing impossible. Also, we could not find anywhere for a meal until after 7pm. At the hotel, the room was pretty squashy and nowhere to sit comfortably. There was a dining table downstairs but no lounge or bar area. Hot water was great, bed was ok and breakfast was adequate. The owner was very hospitable and accommodating where possible. Parking the car was a dream as the hotel has it’s own carpark.k

Mycket hjälpsam personal.
Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra med parkering på tomten. Ganska enkelt rum och enkel frukost. Läget en bra bit från gamla stadens sevärdheter i ett inte alltför trevligt område. Hotellet ligger i en gammal patriciervilla från 1800 talet med viss charm.

Monsieur, Je pense vous faites confusion entre vieux et ancien. Oui notre hôtel est ancien et nous sommes fier d’avoir un bâtisse chargée d’histoire que notre clientèle apprécie. Cela est bien précisé sur le Site Internet qui vous a servi à réserver. Il est certain que tout le monde n’est pas apte à apprécier l’ancien pour diverses raisons que je ne citerai pas afin de ne pas vous offenser. Nous sommes désolés que vous n’ayez pas été satisfait de notre maison et vous souhaitons plus de chance lors de votre prochain passage à Carcassonne dans un autre hôtel.

Nous regrettons que vous n'ayez pas été satisfait de la chambre standard. Nous avons plusieurs catégories de chambre dont celles avec lit Queen size (160) et lit King size (180). La télécommande de la climatisation vous permet de doser les sens de l'air, sa puissance et sa température entre autre. Il est dommage que vous ne nous ayez pas parlé de votre problème, nous vous aurions aidé pour le réglage.

The wifi in this hotel is not the best and the outlets are also not great for American electronics with converters. We had to rig up a situation where we had to press the bed against our plugs to shove them into the walls, and all night our cell phones lit up repeatedly as the charge came and went. The beds aren't the most comfortable, with only one long pillow. It's a bit expensive when you consider this and also the fact that breakfast is not included. In general I'd pass for the price.

Madam or Sir, it is not easy to answer an anonymous notice because we do not know which room you had. We are very surprised for the quality of the bed because it is one of our strong point. You just had to open the wardrobe of your room to find extra pillows ... As for plugs they are French standards but we have adapters for all countries of the world graciously available at the reception as indicated on the welcome file that is in each room and translated into English. To conclude, there is a person present at the reception 24/24 H which is available to customers but if you do not ask anything, it will not be guessed that you have not opened the wardrobe to find extra pillows nor do you need an electric adapter! We hope that you will find during your next stay in Carcassonne a hotel that better suits your personality.

A wonderful little hotel with excellent staff /owners. The room was very nice and the bed was the most comfortable we slept in compared to the other places we stayed while in France. There are many good restaurants within walking distance and the petite train / trolley that takes you to directly the medieval city and castle stop is right across the street

Charming & restful
The hotel has a family run charm to it and the staff were delightful and very helpful. It is within walking distance of the city center (not the city walls! that's 20 min walk). If you are driving through Carcassonne and staying the night I would recommend it!

Hotel Montesgur had an old world charm that is lost in modern hotels today. It was in a quiet location on the edge of the new city and the main square was just a five minute walk away and the old city is about a twenty minute walk. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the parking was great. The only negative is that the room we stayed in must have had the smallest, hardest bed in the world!! Other than that we had a lovely stay at this hotel.

Wonderful hotel just outside the Bastide
We had a great visit to Carcassonne. The owners of this hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, rooms (we had a 2BR suite) were comfortable and well maintained. This hotel is just outside the (13th century) "new" town, so is quiet and a convenient walk to shops, restaurants and the excellent market that is in the town square three mornings a week. Also very close to the Canal du Midi which makes for a nice walk or jog. It was maybe a 30 minute walk to the medieval Cite, which we found fascinating although much more crowded with tourists.

Es un hotel que no tiene ninguna comodidad. La habitación36 es horrible. El WC que está separado del baño, es tan pequeño que casi no cabes. La cama super pequeña e incomoda.. y así todo. Sólo felicito al fotógrafo que hizo el reportaje del hotel porque la verdad es que les sacó mucho partido. Realmente estoy muy descontenta.
