'My review of the property is coloured by the fact that I disliked Baru and my husband and I bith left with a stomach bug. The property is one of the better one's on the beach and at the top end so not quite as busy as the central part if the beach. The rooms are very small and there is no air conditioning. The staff are friendly and arranged our transfers with taxi and boat from Cartagena. The food at their restaurant is probably also some of the best on the beach. That being said it still...

'Really beautiful secluded spot on the beach with a lovely staff, not to mention cute beach puppies! The beach was the best for swimming we encountered on our road trip, and the bird watching tower looking into the nature reserve was really cool. The bungalow with an outdoor shower was lovely. We were here for only one night, but wish we had been able to stay longer, and hope to be back soon! Quick note about google maps is that it doesn't think you can drive all the way there, but the road does...
