Excellent communication with host. Property manager also very helpful/friendly when we could not find sheets for loft pullout couch. Beautiful decor. The pool was a crystal gem!

Very nice and well-appointed house. The pool on the second floor makes things much more convenient. It's not right on the beach but close to the manatee canal and Mainstays, and besides driving around in golf carts is the best part. We had four adults and three kids and everyone enjoyed it quite a bit. My only criticism would be that the fourth bedroom is more of a den and far from the bathrooms, but we put a teenager in there an he loved it.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in North Captiva! From the beginning, communication with the hosts was super clear, friendly, and full of empathy. they truly cared about making our stay perfect. The house is in a fantastic location and has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful family vacation. The pool was amazing, the rooms were spacious and spotless. We found everything we needed and felt right at home. If I ever come back to the island, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything

Our stay at this home on North Captiva Island was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The house is beautifully kept, spacious, and perfect for families. We especially loved the rooftop deck it became our favorite spot for sunsets and late-night hangouts. Having our own private pool was such a bonus, and the included golf cart made it easy (and fun) to explore the island.The location was just right: tucked away enough to feel private, but close enough to everything we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals, and we enjoyed making breakfast together every morning before heading out for the day. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described if not better.What really made this trip unforgettable was how much the house added to the overall experience of North Captiva. It felt like home right away and gave us the perfect place to relax, unplug, and make memories. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unique island getaway.

Great week!

We were very happy with this property. Very nice to have a pool on site! Sunsets and sunrises were amazing, and we had a great view from the crows nest. A few things on the site did not match the property due to the recent storms, short on outdoor chairs and no king king table. The property was clean and organized, but we did find some of the dishes from the cupboards had to be washed before we could use them. Overall would rent here again.

Fabulous!

Fantastic home and wonderful stay. Any inquires we had were addressed pleasantly and quickly. The home is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to cook or grill. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the deck pool daily. I plan on staying here again in the future. Highly recommend.

It was an unusually high tide so much of the island was flooded. This made it difficult to get with the property manager but they left the keys for us. The gulf cart has a short in the electrical so the cart would die a lot. However when you shake the key switch it would run again. In a very positive note the house is a 3 bed 2 bath not a 2 bed 1 bath as listed. I recommend staying here.

Girls week

We had the most amazing week at Paradise Palms. The house is just lovely! Spacious and super clean with everything you could possibly need! Beds were super comfortable. The location is spectacular on the runway. One Direction is open ocean and One Direction is the Bayside every morning we got up and walked around the circle to both sides, it was wonderful! Lots of starfish and we even found a live conch shell! We loved the outdoor shower as well nice to rinse off the beach before you head into the house. The pool is so convenient directly off the kitchen. We lived out there. I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Scott and Jana for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! The house is gorgeous and having a pool was everything. The island still has some damage but is beautiful. The owner was responsive to my questions prior to my arrival which was super helpful.

Great stay

This home is well positioned on the Island. We enjoyed the proximity to everything. It’s clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The beds were comfortable. But, if you’re a North Captiva regular, you know golf cart can make or break your stay. Their cart is top notch! Love that it’s up high and have big tires. We appreciated not having to worry about it. The island was a bit crowded and we didn’t have great weather. But the house was perfect. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Spring break family vacation

We loved Paradise Palms. The house was spacious and immaculate. The pool was so nice for our kids to gather around and relax and visit. We ran out of propane mid-grilling and a new tank was delivered within 10 minutes! It was a fantastic and memorable time for our family escaping the Minnesota winter weather! We will definitely return.

Great Place on North Captiva!

We had a great stay on North Captiva! We enjoyed the deck on the top of the house with Adirondack chairs and the Osprey nest nearby (with baby ospreys!). Great location, close to the beach and near to Mango's and when it reopens Barnacles Bar. Management company was responsive when we let them know the hose was leaking on the deck by the pool. Thanks for sharing your beach house with us!

Palm Paradise is a Paradise

Great place and great location.

Great place overall. Very good location overall. Lots of construction going on due to the rebuilding from the hurricane last year. So be aware of that. The place was clean and exactly as described. There were some minor issues, like the dishwasher not being attached to the wall and tipping over whenever we loaded it. But it still worked and not a big deal. We had a great relaxing vacation!

This property was exactly as described. It was clean and nicely decorated. The property management company, Shalley’s, was also amazing. Whenever I had a question, they always responded quickly. Also, ordering and reordering groceries was a breeze. It was out first trip here, but we will definitely be back. It was our best vacation in years!

Amazing!

We had THE best time on North Captiva Island! The damage from the hurricane is still present but it did not distract from the natural beauty of the island. The house was perfect, well stocked and very clean! The pool was an added bonus for the couple of afternoons we had for lounging. We loved exploring the island both by foot and by golf cart. Highly recommend this house and the island for an unforgettable vacation.

Loved Scott and Jana’s beautiful island home!

We could not have asked for a better trip! The home was beautiful and the island was breathtaking, even in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. We enjoyed taking golf cart rides around the island, beach days, and pool afternoons. We even got to see dolphins a few times! Scott was so great at communicating with me in advance to our trip and Brian with Shally’s was awesome while we were on the island! Island girl ferry was the perfect way to get to and from the island and ordering our groceries through Shally’s was a breeze. Highly recommend staying here. We can’t wait to make it back!
