history of the area.
- Enjoy the Cape beach house - a calm, smartly furnished, comfortable three
bedroom beach cottage situated in a garden setting. It is calming, clean, light and super comfy, ideal for families, couples, solo travellers, small group of friends, pets, with a front gate.

Highlights of the property include:
- You can hear the sound of the ocean from the house
- Split heating/cooling systems (one in kitchen and one in lounge room)
- Outdoor BBQ with bbq cooking utensils
- Large outdoor dining table in the backyard and outdoor dining table on the front

- Secured with a front gate and fenced around the property

THE HOME
- Bedroom 1: one Queen bed

The house accommodates up to six guests (including infants).

- The kitchen comes with a large dining area leading onto a deck in front with an
undercover verandah.

Beach and spectacular views are a five minute walk including a rock pool - ideal for families, as well as a fabulous surf beach protected by a life-saving club in the Summer months. A very safe area with parks and play equipment for children. There are beautiful walks at Cape Paterson and around its beaches.

There is a lot to do for a family holiday.
Cape Paterson boasts fantastic surf beaches, an inlet beach with a rock pool. Great locations for surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, day on the boat or just fun beach days.

The city of Wonthaggi is only a ten minute car ride away with all the major and smaller supermarkets, hotels, the RSL, restaurants/cafes and shops etc.
There is also the local coal mine tour in Wonthaggi.
Phillip Island is a half-hour drive away.

The beach house is ideal for a couple's weekend away. The area is quiet, tranquil, cosy and energising.
Cape Paterson has a Tavern with a fantastic menu and a general store to buy your essentials.
14km and 14 minute drive along the ocean coast from Cape Paterson to Inverloch.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time staying here. The property had everything we needed for a cosy getaway and was just a short stroll from the beautiful beaches of Cape Paterson. We were particularly impressed with how clean and tidy the house & garden was. We look forward to staying again soon.

On a wintery Long Weekend, our family had a perfect time in this cosy house, playing board games, watching the footy, going for dog walks at nearby beaches and eating out at the General Store and The Tavern (dog friendly!). No open fireplace but the heaters work really well and quickly. Quiet street, lots of trees around and all safely fenced in. Beds very comfortable with flannelette sheets provided for the chilly nights. All kitchen utensils provided and easy to find. Wine glasses were missing so we went ‘Italian style’ in short drinking glasses instead. A truly lovely time away with a family of teenagers!

Travelled for a beach wedding in Cape Patterson. Check in was simple and easy.Rosemary was attentive and helpful before we checked in.House was perfect for 3 adults and 1 infant and had everything we could have needed.Unfortunately the house had a flying ant issue while we were there which was unforeseen and a shower head that wouldn’t stay up to start with.Just dampened our stay a bit and made it tricky with an active toddler.

Relaxing getaway

My son and I spent two nights at the Cape Beach house. The property was very clean and exactly as shown in the listing. Rosemary has fantastic communication and I loved that the property is full fenced so we were able to bring our Border Collie, Gemma, with us to enjoy the space safely. I would highly recommend this property located in a lovely quiet part of Cape Paterson. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Great little getaway

This a perfect place for a quiet weekend. It is very private and has everything we need. And the decor is very tasteful. It was unfortunate the local Tavern was closed both evenings due to functions , but we will definitely nook again .
