Great location! Comfortable and roomy home. Not happy to be expected to wash provided house bath mats and dish towels. And we were expected to provide paper goods for the next guests! Also, the cleaners did not do a great job. Items left under the coffee table and behind the chair and under the bathroom counter.

Location, location, location. Impeccably comfortable home with the best outdoor shower. Christine was incredibly communicative and hospitable. Gorgeous and utilitarian features, perfect for a gathering of friends, a larger family or a couple of small families. Please note you must bring your own toiletries, bed linens, and towels. Even with this added cost, pricing was competitive for the area. I would love to host a trip here again. Thank you Christine!

Perfect Stay at a Perfect Home!

My family and I spent a long Memorial Day weekend at Cape May with this stunning rental as our home base. Christine was very accommodating and communicative, allowing us extra time at the home as well. The house is spectacular, very clean, a perfect blend of old and new. Our large family had ample space to relax separately as well as together. We look forward to staying again at this property at one of our favorite places at the shore!

Thanksgiving Getaway

The owner was fantastic in communicating every aspect of our trip: location, supplies in kitchen that I needed to cook a Thanksgiving dinner, linen rental arrangements, etc everything that we needed to have an incredible visit. The home was very clean, prepared, and supplied with many thoughtful needs. Coming to Cape May out-of-season was beautiful with all of the Christmas and winter decorations and activities! ( this home was decorated so beautifully, that many walking by took photos of it...) Would definitely recommend this house to families with adult and active members( lots of steps- we loved it!) but also, children that need to separate from parents for quiet- sleeping. Just a lovely place to visit at the holidays! Christine was super helpful from beginning to end!!

End of Summer Stay

Stayed here with family just after Labor Day. Worked good for us because we were travelling with a nine month old. Parents and baby could stay on the first floor and have access to a kitchenette while the rest of the group had the upstairs. Property has a nice yard and is close to beach, shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful house with an unbeatable location!

I recently spent a few days at this property, which is perfectly situated on a lovely street that is only one block to the beach and one block to the Washington Street Mall. Once I arrived and parked my car, I didn't use it again until my departure! The house had easy access with brand new keyless entry by a pin-code that was provided at check-in. The host offered a booklet with recommendations for restaurants, activities and other helpful resources that were appreciated during my stay. Everything in town is walkable: coffee shops, groceries, and amazingly fresh poke bowls near the beach. In the afternoon I was able to sit on the veranda and watch the horse drawn carriages go by every half hour or so. An absolutely charming vacation spot that I would absolutely book again!

Excellent summer stay with everything you need

This house was perfect. The bedrooms were all comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with tons of amenities and appliances which allowed us to cook many meals throughout our stay. Everything was in nice and relatively new condition. Nothing was broken or falling apart (which can't always be said for houses down here). Privacy was perfect. The parking spaces in front of the house were clutch. Never had any noise issues from nearby inns or businesses. Walkable to everything that could be of interest. We hope we will be back!

Vacation at Cape May with Great Friends

Our stay was wonderful for many reasons! The house itself was a great Victorian historic home, but was renovated and upgraded with all the modern day amenities. The location of the home was perfect! In one direction, we were only a few blocks from the beach and in the other direction only a few blocks from the Washington street shopping area! All we had to do was park the car and walk to where ever we wanted to go and if you chose to venture to the lighthouse or breweries, you were only a short drive away! The house also had a wrap around porch, which we would sit in the evening with a drink and just take in the area and people watch. The home and the area are definitely on our list to return to in the future! I would highly recommend this home to anyone seeking rest, relaxation, shopping and a nice beach! All the essentials of great living! This was definitely a 5-Star stay experience! Greg P.

Great Stay at the Queen's Cottage!

The Queen's Cottage is conveniently located between the beach and and the Washington Street Mall. In addition to the generous number of bedrooms and full-baths, The house boasts two kitchens - one on the first floor for quick preps and one on the second floor for more traditional meals. The house is well-appointed with plenty of room for guests to spread out and enjoy beautiful Cape May. If you're looking for a home for a large family or friends to gather, look no further than the Queen's Cottage! You're in for a real treat.

Perfect Cape May Location

Our family stayed at the Queen's Cottage for a week in August. There is no better Cape May location than this! It is a lovely residential street...much quieter than when we stayed on Jackson Street. It's only one block to the beach and one block to the Washington Mall. The Acme grocery is two blocks away. Park your car and walk to everything. Two very convenient parking spots on the side of the house. Sit on the wraparound porch and watch the horse-drawn carriages go by every night. The owner provides lots of area information as well as beach tags for everyone. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. There is a private side yard with seating for 8-10 and a gas grill. Lots of refrigerator space for food and beverages. There is the Cape May Library across the street if you've got a rainy afternoon. We found that the layout of the house is not great for small children....steep staircases...so we recommend bringing baby gates for safety if you've got young children. The third floor does not have a bathroom, so the occupants of those two bedrooms need to come downstairs. We found the lockbox was tricky to maneuver...should probably update that with a digital keypad. Others have commented that the dishwasher is inadequate for the size of the house...bring paper plates! Also, if you have other guests visiting you while you're at the Queen's Cottage, bring a roll of quarters for the parking meters on the street.
