NEW LISTING - Villa Coconut Cove - Beautiful waterfront home w. heated pool

This beautiful Villa is located in a quiet Cape Coral neighborhood. The lot is located right on the water where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the wide canal.

This canal is the largest of the fresh water canals in Cape Coral, and leads out to several large lakes including Kennedy and Shamrock. Take the kayaks out and enjoy the true Florida nature first hand.

The lanai is very spacious, has a beautiful pool, sun beds for everyone and a cozy dining area with a large flat screen TV, and a large BBQ gas grill. You have even more social areas to enjoy with the NEW dock and tiki hut.

The Southeast exposure gives you both the gorgeous Florida sunrise as well as sun ALL day! Only 2 minutes from Pine Island Rd. with all the restaurants and stores.

For those summer nights, we have a mosquito misting that keeps the pest away from the lanai area. And it can be controlled On and OFF by you. This way you get ALL the sunshine but without the bugs at night.

Villa Coconut Cove offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with plenty of seating, two dining areas, and a fully equipped kitchen. The villa also has a spacious office, if you need keep up with business or stay in touch with friends during your stay! For some extra fun, we have added a foosball table.

The Primary Bedroom has a King size bed, TV and a large closet. It is En-Suite master and has a big shower with plenty of space for two, double sinks and a walk-in closet. The toilet is separate.

The second bedroom is slightly bigger than the third and therefore also has a King-sized bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds. Both guest bedrooms have spacious closets and a TV.

To secure clean and fresh linen and towels for every stay, we use a professional linen company. They handle everything from a state-of-the-art facility in Fort Myers, FL and only uses top-rated Ecolab detergents and chemicals, promising pristine linens with each service.

The villa offers WIFI so you can use your own phone, tablet, or laptop.

Great rental with vacation vibe

Home is exactly as depicted. The home is very spacious and the layout is great. Highlight is the pool of course -- we enjoyed not having a covered lanai, and since the pool sits up on a deck it is generally free of debris or bugs. Pool heater works well -- electric heat pumps do take longer to get the pool to temperature but not much of an issue in February/March or later.Home seems well-maintained with weekly pool maintenance, bi-weekly landscape service, regular pest service etc. Also has automated anti-mosquito spray system installed around the pool deck.We arrived to a clean house. Supplies are on-hand for short-term visitors, not for our month long stay. Wish there was at least a swifter mop handle as longer term guests need to clean periodically.All appliances were newer and first rate. Pool toys were abundant. Sit-on kayaks were available and were awesome to use.One negative -- window coverings could be improved re: privacy.As home is on a canal you really do get a vacation vibe. Deck chairs and pads were great. Has a neat fire pit we didn't use fueled by propane. Gas grill newer and in perfect working order.We've never stayed in Cape Coral before. Home is close to everything (grocery, restaurants, etc.) except beaches.All in all highly recommend this home as either a short or long term rental.

The decor was beautifully detailed and comfortable as well as functional. We were unaware there was damage due to last years hurricane, but it did little to change what we were doing...just surprised it wasn't mentioned when we booked. We would recommend this home without reserve. Check in, relax and enjoy!

I have to first and foremost state that the Property Management Company went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our stay bearable. Thank goodness for Brian!!! I won’t say exactly how we felt here, just know that I wanted to leave immediately upon entering this home and would highly discourage anyone from staying here. Property owner has neglected his home, and needs to do something immediately. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE, DON’T STAY HERE!!!!!!

OVERPRICED…we spent 2 months. beautiful pics on the website…BUT 2 broken ceiling fans, TV that didn’t work (was replaced after several days,) pool heater didn’t work - fixed after a week, 8 MISSING lightbulbs had to be replaced, cupboard door torn off, kitchen cupboards peeling, shower door fell in, 2 printers didn’t work as advertised -‘full office,’ no TV remote in master BR - couldn’t use TV, support panel in kitchen torn off, charged for additional electricity-not stated in ad…RUN FROM THIS ONE!

Lovely with glitches

The home is impressive, spacious to the point of a coldness. The lighting leaves much room for improvement. Hanging lights not in sync with furniture placement, brighter light bulbs and more of them. Unfortunately the heated pool was not working upon arrival. It took five days to repair and warm it up. The living room TV stopped working half way thru trip. The home was well appointed, had all our needs. The Africa theme was well done! There was construction road work leaving the neighborhood and a home being built next door. We love riding bicycles, not a good area for bicycling. Overall, the home is great, just several glitches during our stay. The rental agent was responsive and tried to help every way she could within reason.

Good place for vacation

The house is decent and good location for family reunion event. There are many beaches near by to enjoy. However, guest instructions need to be read carefully since there are some items don't exist but guests get charges if they don't report to the manager during their stay. Missing garage opener will be charged $150 but it isn't provided from the beginning. Also, bathroom tissues are not sufficient.

We just lost very suddenly our son my second eldest just a week before we arrived this was most difficult for my wife daughter and I, you see he was going to come with us and enjoy this vacation as well but he passed away so suddenly, so you see this place became our place of morning God couldn’t find a more perfect place, and yes I will highly recommend anyone that would want to visit, I will one day visit god permitting revisit again.

Absolutely loved this residence

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was just beautiful, was in a great location and had a beautiful view. The Villa Africa theme throughout the home was really fun. Very well stocked kitchen, cold air-conditioning,o action great for shopping and beautiful outdoor covered patio and pool area. Great office area and laundry. Appreciated it being pet-friendly. We will definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Great property for a quiet get away

Beautiful property with private pool on canal. The home is in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Large lot with 2 vacant lots on either side for more privacy. Home was very clean and spacious. Great bathroom and walk in shower. Heated pool. House is perfect if you are working remotely while there as there are 2 large desks with supplies. House is in more suburban area but easy to get to downtown area as well as tourist destinations and beaches. Great communication from Erin who is the property manager.

The layout of the house is great. The pool was the greatest part of the stay and the grill was too!

The whole experience was so great. The home was beautiful and spacious. The pool area was where we spent most of our time. From check in to check out was a breeze. Would go back. The electric charge was a worry. We never used the pool heater because of it. But it turned out even with the air on it was only $15.00 or so.

Nice but a few things to note!

Overall the house was nice, spacious and it was great looking over the canal with a great breeze on the patio area. Location was good - easy to get around and we went back and forth to Ft. Myers. Erin the property contact was great to work with! Easy to get a hold of and brought us dish soap and laundry detergent when we arrived! There are some things however that need to be noted when you are looking to stay here. Some an issue, some just observation/opinion. We did not have access to the garage as the listing stated. Which we brought our Jeep so we could take the top off and put it in the garage - couldn’t do that. The pool took two days to warm up to use - which is one of the main reasons we rented this house. So to the next guests right after us - your welcome because we’re gonna get charged for heating it. The owner really needs to just have it heated PRIOR to guests arriving. As well, the pool needs to be cleaned PRIOR to guests arriving, not on Wednesdays. It was pretty dirty when we arrived. I also would suggest having more pool amenities - there was one raft that was not aired and stuck in a corner dirty and one noodle. If people are coming on vacation they are not going to buy these types of things for just a week. Also there are lights outside that need replaced. Patio furniture could be updated - it’s pvc pipes. Inside, the blinds need replaced - they are very worn, torn, some are missing. The printed cloth that’s on the walls is coming off. There was NO extra toilet paper. Just a roll in each bathroom - to me this should be something they have extra of. Light switches were a pain to figure out. Numerous ones not labeled, did not do anything or were not working. Some lamps did not have working light bulbs, and the dining room table is nice but it’s decorated pretty fancy. I would suggest a more informal table in the area that is by the patio. Especially if you are bringing kids! There is a chandelier light hanging where one should be. I would also suggest having bar stool chairs for the kitchen for people to visit. The neighbor was super helpful and very friendly! I would recommend Miceli’s (?) as he did - it was AMAZING!

Great family holiday!

The home is very comfortable and specious. Everything was fresh and clean. There were plenty of fresh white bath towels as well as pool towels. Each bathroom had all new travel size toiletries. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare full course dinner and entertain. It was nice to find essential spices and condiments in the kitchen cabinets. Erin, our property manager was wonderful! We arrived 1.5 hours prior to the check in time and she met us at the house to let us in early. She greeted us with a welcome box of basic laundry essentials, hand soap, dishe soap and dishwasher tablets. She went through the house with us and explained everything. I had to contact her twice with some questions and she was very responsive and helpful. Every night kids enjoyed the heated pool and beautiful patio area. Villa Africa is wonderful home away from home and perfect for family vacation!

My family and I enjoyed staying at the Villa and would strongly encourage others to take advantage of this special home. The home was so inviting, we spent 3 of our 7 days in the pool enjoying the fishing, grilling and leisure this beautiful home offers.

Watch out for 100% mark-up on the electricity use!

While the property was pretty much as described there were some issues. The pool heater or the thermostat did not seem to work. The pool would only get up to ambient temperature slowly as the day went by and the sun warmed the surface. It was bought to the manager's attention but not really ever resolved. The main problem however was the charges for electricity usage. You will be charged 15 Cents a Watt as it mentions in their agreement. Now they first tried to say this was normal. But the local utility/power company is LCEC. The actual cost per Watt is around 7 to 8 Cents. You can call LCEC to confirm this. So this management company is effectively marking up the cost of electric by 100% ! They also do not provide any weekly credit towards electric which seems even more unfair. The home consumes at least $25 of electric per week even if sitting empty. So without the weekly credit you are paying towards property overheads. Then, in addition to that, expect to pay double the cost per Watt. When questioned, the manager said the extra cost is their "admin fee". Wow!!! She also got quite annoyed that I dared questioned the mark-up. Maybe its because I live locally and I am not a naive tourist that doesn't know anything. Personally, I think the electric charge was outrageous. They take your credit card details when you arrive and check the electric meter either weekly or when you depart. Other than that, the property was reasonable maintained and the elderly relatives that we booked this home for, enjoyed their stay.
