What a View!! Didn’t want to leave
Was as nice as described on the website. View really was spectacular. House is very well stocked, having everything we needed for a great get away. Nice decor, appliances worked well, lots of books and games, and so convenient to the park.

Girls Trip!
A group of 5 of us drove up from the Austin area to escape for the weekend! What a wonderful cabin with an even better view to adventure from. Right off the back porch you can begin exploring. The views are unbeatable and better than some you get in the state park. Plus the amenities were amazing for us to cook together and enjoy meals, laughs, and good conversations around the dinner table. Hot tub time under the stars after long days hiking in the park were perfect. We even got to view some wildlife up on the property. Will definitely stay at El Coronado again!

Very Nice Cabin with Excellent Views
Outstanding. Cabin was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen was probably the most well stocked for any VRBO that we have stayed in. The views overlooking the Canyon were stunning. Even though there were neighboring cabins, very quiet and relaxing. Short drive to the town of Canyon and even shorter drive to the State Park. Highly recommend Doves Rest Cabins.

The perfect family getaway
We had such a lovely time. The views were spectacular and although we didn’t cook much, the kitchen was well appointed. The house was perfect for our little family getaway. Couldn’t beat the proximity to the canyon entrance either! We had a great time and definitely hope to be back!

Adequate House - Can see balloons
You can see the Balloon Fiesta balloons from the upstairs balcony. There are two trees and a rooftop in the way, so you don't see them take off, but they become visible shortly afterwards. The house itself was just ok. Mostly tile floors downstairs (hate tile) and the temperature controls were hard to figure out. No TV downstairs unless you have your own streaming service subscription.

The best view
The house was perfect for visiting Palo Duro! The home was decorated just as you would want for your PDC adventure...rustic, with your own bison head over the wood burning fireplace. Everything you need to cook as you are about 25 minutes from Canyon and restaurants. The home is literally 5 minutes from the gate to PDC. The best part... was the amazing view from almost every room! if you don’t go to the canyon... no worries as you have the best spot to see a vista of the canyon and wildlife. It was truly breathtaking... what a spot! Splurge, if you are considering PDC you will not be disappointed!

Mother, Daughter, Sisters Getaway
This was the ultimate weekend getaway for the women of our family. Everything we needed and more was provided. We were so comfortable and so impressed with the hospitality. The views from this cabin are phenomenal. The location and access to the park is so convenient. I just can't say enough how much we enjoyed our time at El Coronado with Doves Rest. We all want to go back!
