We always enjoy our stay here; the waterslide is a big draw. The breakfast has lots of selections, and items labeled gluten free or not. They’ve upgraded the flooring in the rooms since the last time we were there: from carpet to luxury vinyl plank which was a welcome surprise with a potty training toddler.
It is starting to show its age in places. The pool could probably use being shut down for a while to do some Reno’s; you can see multiple patch points, and the grout doesn’t clean super easy as evidenced by the poor guy on his hands and knees while we were in there this morning. There’s rust that’s ingrained into the grout in places. You can also tell the showers are not necessarily evident when you go through the lower level as you can see small patches of skum that’s sticky and hard to remove from peoples lotions as they haven’t showered before entering the pool. Didn’t keep us out of the pool at all.
There’s a few nick’s and dings in the walls, which I’m hyper critical of having run my own hotel. Regardless of these little things the staff are always helpful and happy; always enjoy our stay here.
