Lots of little things that made the cabin more inviting; mints in the bedroom, snack basket, filtered water, shampoo and other items in the bathroom, plenty of cooking and serving dishes and utensils. The location is quiet. Highly recommend for a wonderful getaway or central location for a vacation. »

« Alex, the property owner, was delightful. He was welcoming, offered to assist us with our luggage, and asked us to contact him at any time during our stay if we needed anything or had questions. The artistry and decorating in the cabin was amazing. The cabin was spotless and equipped with all the essentials. The forest setting is beautiful, private, such a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful retreat. We highly recommend staying at Miracles on Polly, itâs lovely! Grocery store / gas...

« Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable.
Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. The kettle on the stove was filled with dirty rusty water, the cast iron pans were greasy and dirty, the table, chairs and wall behind the stove were very sticky. We rented a cottage with a dishwasher thinking we did...

« Excellent lakeside view. True peace and quiet. Courteous and friendly owners who respond to messaging extremely fast. 30 minutes from the Canadian border in Lubec with some stunning vistas. We travelled here from NJ for Halloween weekend in late October 2025, and the trees were turning and changing colors all along the drive up, and all throughout Maine. Cozy cabin vibes and an easy to use fireplace with plenty of firewood. Highly recommended. »
