Our house, built in 1736, is ideally located in the heart of historic Cambridge. Facing the Choptank River, it is 1/2 block from the marina & lighthouse. Restaurants and shops abound within a few blocks. The house is large and spacious with an open living room and dining area, smaller more intimate spaces are located in the back, including a den, kitchen and small 1/2 bath. On the 3rd floor, a full 2nd kitchen, full bath, sitting room & bedroom await you.
Come and see what a treasure this is! The space The back portion of the property was built in the mid 1700s, the front part of the house was added later in the early 1800s. All in all a home that is one of a kind. The front rooms boast 15 foot ceilings on both the 1st and 2nd floors, the back rooms include a den and kitchen are cozier but all have great character. The kitchen, porch and back bedrooms have views of the Choptank river, fishing boats can be seen motoring by. Fireplaces are in every room but unfortunately are not operable. The home has been lovingly furnished with our personal items and hope you will find it a calming and pleasant place to stay.
