Salir do Porto is an ideal place to explore the beautiful Silver Coast. Within walking distance there are several restaurants, cafes, public swimming pool, a small train station and a supermarket. The 2 houses are quietly located but within walking distance (15 minutes) from the bay and the beach of Sao Martinho do Porto. The natural bay is shallow and safe for swimming or practicing all kinds of water sports such as: sailing, canoeing, wind- and kite surfing and fishing. Obidos Lagoon at Foz do Arelho can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Here you can also practice these water sports, plus wave surfing. Besides the beautiful sandy beaches, bay, lagoon and nature, there are also historical / cultural cities and monuments to visit, among others; Obidos, Tomar, Alcobaça, Caldas da Rainha and Nazaré. In about 40 minutes there are several golf courses south of the lagoon. Lisbon and the airport are at 100 km distance.
