This hotel was a major disappointment and extremely poor value for money. I paid over $300 for three nights, yet the experience was far below acceptable standards and not even worthy of a one-star rating. The high rating on Expedia (9/10 from 75+ reviews) is very misleading, especially since the hotel is listed under two different names, raising concerns about transparency.
The building is very old, with steep stairs leading to the reception, and the reception area is so close to the rooms that noise can be heard throughout the night. The bathroom layout is unacceptable: the toilet is placed inside a small cabinet within the room, directly next to the beds, causing severe discomfort and hygiene concerns. Even after switching rooms, there was a strong, unpleasant smell outside, possibly from a utility or laundry area.
Despite booking three non-refundable nights, I requested to stay only one night, but the hotel refused to cooperate and ignored multiple attempts by Expedia to contact them. This forced me to stay all three nights, which ruined my trip.
Additionally, the “full breakfast” advertised on Expedia was misleading, consisting of only one boiled egg, a piece of cheese, and a small jar of jam.
Wifi is not working too.
Overall, this hotel is overpriced, poorly managed, and strongly not recommended.
