'Such a unique property. We stayed in the room that Queen Victoria stayed in, and slept in the original bed, they also have the original 7 foot bathtub - best bath ever. The staff were so attentive.'

'Avoid! I stayed in a single room on the second floor of this pub. The room was very tired/shabby and in desperate need of a deep clean. Old carpet fraying around the edges, dirty splashes up the wall, etc. Sloping, creaking floor. The mattress was old and uncomfortable - springs dig into you all night. I’m always wary of non-white towels and bed linen as cleanliness is never as good - it’s dark grey towels here and grey bed linen. Thin pillows and duvet. And the TV didn’t work. I now see...

'The room was clean & we had a nice meal, however we asked for breakfast at 8am due to a ride event we were attending. However, the following day no breakfast was available & the chef was unaware of our request, which was a shame & left with no food. Also, on the Expedia site the room I booked was £52 each, but I was charged £112, & not sure where the fault lies though suspect it is Expedia'

'Cottage with a lot of details and things. But all was clean and tidy. Not very well suited for tall people (small bed and low fixed shower). Via Google pretty hard to find, but the spot is very nice and the people friendly. Surprised by the animals in the garden.'

'Lovely rural farmhouse in charming location. Perfect for families. Quiet and peaceful. Near to North Wales tourist destinations like Llangollen, Bala and Snowdonia. Would definitely return again.'
