Overall good

Overall we had a great stay in Budapest. Only when checking in, we were supposed to pay a late arrival fee because we arrived at 00h30. Which was not a problem for us. We took 20000 Hungarian forint at the airport. The late arrival fee was 15000HUF. When checking in, we gave the 20000HUF because we could get less at the airport. Unfortunately we didn't get any money back from Kate. The stay was very good, nice and close to the center. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

I gave 4 out 5 only because when we arrived the bed in the larger room smelled like cigarettes. But Kate was very quick to respond by quickly coming in and changing out all the bedding. After that the smell was gone and the rest of our stay was excellent. The place was more than enough room for 5 guest. Highly recommend.

Die Wohnung ist auch für 5 Leute gut ausgestattet und bietet einen tollen Ausgangspunkt für die Stadt.Dass wir am Abreisetag unser Gepäck noch in der Wohnung lassen durften, war einfach großartig.Wenn man etwas kritisieren will, wäre es die zu geringe Ausstattung mit Besteck und Töpfen.

Very clean, spacious apartment with beautiful furnishings. Modern bathroom and convenient 2nd toilet. Located within a communal courtyard behind securely locked doors from a side street - don’t be deceived by the drab entryway. Amazing bakery very close with supermarket, atm etc easy walk to most areas in central city. Host is responsive and rectified minor issue same day. Note: parking across the street is not for casual use - 10mins walk to nearby parking garage.

Spacious and clean. Close to shops, grocery, restaurants and ruin bars.l and transit options. Was nice to have 2 separate bedrooms. There is no AC despite the listing stating there was. We were supplied with 2 noisy fans. Beds were relatively comfy. One bedside lamp did not work. There is a washer, but it does not dry clothes. The dryer rack or hanging them up is how you dry them. The entrance after the main door to the apartments is where the garbage is stored for all the tenants and does not smell nice and you have walk through that area to get to the apartment. I did not find body wash despite the listing indicating that it was supplied. Overall a good stay.

No air conditioning. No linens for the pillows or sofa. There was a challenging time finding the keys to the apartment and unlocking the gate before the apartment entrance. Apartment was on the street level and it was loud with the neighbors above and people on the street.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here and found the location to be convenient and safe.A few maintenence issues could be addressed such as the leaking shower which soaks the bathroom floor, a few burnt out light bulbs, and wire hanging from ceiling. These were minor, but I think the apartment could use a maintenence visit.Overall a good experience.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Loads of local establishments to eat and drink. Building and apartment were fantastic. There was some noise in the mornings as the locals left for work but to be expected in apartment living.

Perfect Location

This was a perfect location for me as I did almost all my traveling in Budapest by foot. It was no more than 1 hour from the sights I wanted to take in. Adequate groceries near, bus line just down the street and nicely furnaced for what I needed, a jumping off point. I never did figure out the dryer but that was fine. Having wash available was the priority. Secure location with 2 keyed locks to enter the courtyard was great and allowed me to open the door and windows at night to cool the apartment before bed as it was warm at the end of the day for me. Will recommend to friends and defiantly rebook if I return.

Top location!

The accommodation had everything we needed for our short trip. The location was perfect and still quite quiet. The facilities included everything you need. We did not use the kitchen. We would love to come back!

Nice place, great location

It is a very nice, spacious place. I did however misread what 1 and half bathrooms mean, no bath! So it’s basically a shower room and a tiny loo. That said the place is superbly located and Kate was great. Thanks very much

Excellent apartment and great value

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we booked and received detailed communication / instructions, to meeting the host upon arrival and enjoying the apartment for the 5 days we were in Budapest. The decoration is stunning and feels like you are in a luxury hotel suite with chandeliers / contemporary wallpaper. The location is perfect for the Ruin Bars / museums / restaurants and is about 10/15 minute walk from the Danube River. Everything that you needed for your stay was there, including some cupboard items / cutlery / plates / glasses etc. The kitchen was high quality including integrated appliances. All in all, this apartment is outstanding value for money and is a credit to its owner. I will definitely be returning to Budapest and hopefully will be able to stay here once again!
