Located on the iconic Needmore Road and centrally located to all major area attractions, our resort provides convenience, comfort and safety for your stay in the mountains.

Only 1 minute to the Panther Branch takeout of the Little Tennessee River, National Forests and green space, you can hike the forest and fields without the crowds, set up a nice place on a private beach or simply drive the miles of riverfront road.

Basecamp Smoky Mountains has many amenities, beautiful landscape lighting, eco gardens and trails to enjoy while onsite.

5 mins to Nantahala Gorge, Appalachian Trail, Tsali Mountain Bike, Fontana Lake, and Bryson City and in the middle of anything you’d want!

This unit is next to our other unit “Elevation” and can be booked together for a larger space. Common area with fire pit, hot tub, eco-gardens, nature trail, close to Panther Branch take out of Little Tennessee River.
