'Our stay was perfect for what we needed! The check in and out process was simple and fast! The Breakfast was handy! The Staff was great! The pool option was great (hope to utilize next time). I will add that the architecture and layout of the rooms was a bit out of the ordinary. It's a bit hard to explain, but I defiantly got lost at first. 'The hotel is very spacious and the rooms are large with high ceilings but modern in all aspects. Had a great view of the library and the area from the windows. There are only a few rooms on each floor, so it felt cozy. Lobby was clean, and large. Be aware that parking is not free and you either park across the street in a public garage or use the one a couple of blocks away. I used the public one and it was about $15/day. Not ideal, but I knew that going in. Would stay there again. Bed...

'Reminds me of some of the best hostels I stayed in while traveling in Europe. Super clean, very modern, and a great vibe. Joe was there when we checked in, and was super helpful in helping us get settled. Great retail store below, and a cool looking bar as well (window-shopped the store, didn’t hit the bar). It is a hostel, so be prepared for shared bathrooms, etc., but we expected that and it was all in all a great stay. Will totally stay there again!'

'This is a pleasant modern motel on the outskirts of town. It has nothing special about it -- the room is basic, and functional. There's no in-room coffee or water heater. Also no closet or drawers for clothing -- just some external hangers. It does have a gym and a pool -- I used the gym and it was small but the treadmill worked fine. Breakfast is standard motel fare. 'The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay.'
