Hockinson Carriage House - You Won't Want to Leave

During Covid-19 we enhanced our cleaning and sanitation procedures. We clean with Clorox and wipe frequently touched surfaces with extra attention. While cleaning we wear Nutrile Gloves and wear masks as an additional precautionary measure. We have updated our check-in process and our guest information packet to make it easy and to incorporate social distancing to make you feel safe and comfortable. Recently we added YouTubeTV with Netflix and Prime Video for your enjoyment. 42" Roku Smart TV.
We now include a BBQ as an additional cooking option. Kayaks are down by the pond and ready for use should you choose - fishing is generally good - catch and release only please.
Your stay can be as peaceful and relaxing as you desire. The property invites exploration at your leisure - with walking paths to make it easy and safe. The carriage house is private and comfortable with separate entrance and parking. On a private, paved road the property sits on 5 mostly wooded acres, with a creek, blueberry field, small fruit orchard, fenced raspberry patch, 8 chickens and a two acre pond. You are only a mile from the little town of Hockinson with a store, gas station and a tap room. You are 6 miles from the town of Battleground which offers all services and a neat downtown for shopping, antiquing, winery and multiple restaurant options We are 30 minutes from the Portland Airport and 30 minutes to downtown Portland. Stay a night or use as a base to explore/visit Portland, Multnomah Falls, Columbia River Gorge, Vancouver, Mount St Helens and more...

The Carriage House experience was delightful! The apartment was clean, well organized, and homey. The surrounding property beautiful and well manicured. The hosts were very welcoming. If you like Country living, this is the place to stay. It is quiet, clean, and the Carriage House is cozy with the amenities of home. There are chickens on the premises and the hosts welcome you to have some fresh eggs if you would like for breakfast. It looks just like the pictures you view on line. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again in the future!

Cutest and comfiest vrbo!

This is by far the cutest and comfiest vrbo we've ever stayed in! Spacious upstairs studio room, with charming cabin decor and all the kitchen and bathroom supplies that we needed. Check-in instructions were clear and easy (as were the thermostat and tv instructions). And we really appreciated the pancake mix and fresh eggs that were provided. Thanks Artie and Radwyn for going above and beyond!

We highly recommend this property. Our stay was incredible. The unit is very nice and clean, and the surrounding property is amazing. The only thing better than the property is the hosts. Artie and Radwyn are some of the most friendly people we have ever met, and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. The only thing to note is that Verizon is the only cell service that works at the property. However, they have good WiFi available, so it wasn’t really an issue for us. We would certainly come back!

Great rural, peaceful spot

Set back on a rural property in a private carriage house among large trees and spacious yard/garden. We attended wedding festivities, so we only spent slow mornings lounging in the carriage house while sipping coffee before heading out for the day & evening. Beauty and calm in the country

This was our second stay at the Hockinson Carriage House—and we’ll be back! Artie and Radwyn are excellent hosts. Carriage House is expertly provisioned and immaculate. We love the fun, country decor, small farm and safe, secluded setting. It’s such a relaxing place to stay for car drives, and a real treat to stretch our legs with a walk through the beautiful property.

A beautiful location and room

This property is in a beautiful country setting and the room is comfortable, well furnished and clean. The wifi is excellent...and needed, due to no cell service by our provider. The grounds are so pretty and nicely maintained. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful, quiet, private country setting. The hosts were very gracious and quickly responded to questions about the property. The loft was very clean, cozy and offered all the amenities as described. Getting pizza from Hockinson Market is a must! We would definitely recommend the carriage house to friends and family.
