'TownePlace is a solid chain. Love the amount of space and comfort these rooms have to offer. This particular hotel in Brooklyn is new (so the price it probably going to quadruple in the next month). 'I would say that Hotel 1080 is fine to go to with a group of friends rather than a family. Just below the hotel there is a bar and a small garden where they hold parties till 2 am or sometimes even 4 am. Since there is barely any soundproofing you will definitely hear that all night long, you can even hear footsteps from rooms above you which also gets quite annoying. The only bad thing is that it doesn't have private parking, so you have to look for a spot nearby. They should consider having microwaves in each room because the only one is in the cafeteria, and being on the 4th floor, you have to go down and up just to heat up an instant soup.
