Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.

During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.

Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.

We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.

    What To Bring

We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

This was probably the cleanest vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. The listing was very accurate! Super comfortable and relaxing!!! We slept great, caught a few fish in the pond and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. The shampoo/conditioner and the body wash provided smells great!! We would definitely recommend and stay again!!

We had a really wonderful stay at this house. My kids caught several bluegill and a few bass in the pond, along with having a great time net fishing for minnows and frogs. It kept them very entertained. The pond is shared, but it didn’t feel intrusive. The kitchen had everything you’d need or expect to have, and the cabin was very clean. I gave 4 stars only because the extra linens in the closet for the futon didn’t smell so fresh. My teenager didn’t notice lol. The host was communicative and periodically checked in via text to ask if we needed anything. Overall, it was an excellent experience and we would absolutely book this home again.
