Palm Springs Resort Style Estate - 9 Bedrooms, 2.5 Acres, Pool, Spa, Games Room

Brookfield Retreat brings the Palm Springs vibe to Brisbane! The huge single story property is similar in style to Frank Sinatra’s Twin Palms home and is a grand size of approximately 750sq metres.

Located down a delightful quiet lane in inner Brookfield and surrounded by a few other acreage properties, we provide sanctuary to kangaroos, possums, birds, and other wildlife.

We are close to parkland and Kenmore Village.

The main house had 7 bedrooms and 12 individual beds (including the day bed in the Parents Retreat).

The Demountable has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

The Studio is a 80Sq metres of additional space for workshops, meetings, retreats. Aircon and toilet included in this space.

Maximum occupancy of 16 guests permitted.

BEDDING
1. Bedroom 1 - master bedroom - king sized bed, TV, en-suite and adjourning Parents Retreat with sofa day bed.

2. Bedroom 2 - king sized bed + fold up bed.

3. Bedroom 3 - king sized bed and day bed.

4. Bedroom 4 - King bed + fold up bed.

5. Bedroom 5 - queen bed and day bed. Single fold up bed can be added upon request.

6. Bedroom 6 - double bed.

7. Bedroom 7 - small room with single bed.

8. Bedroom 8 - demountable - king bed

9. Bedroom 9 - demountable- single bed + single fold up bed. No air-con in this room - aircon from master bedroom and lounge will cool this room if all doors left open.

BATHROOMS
The main bathroom is a huge 60's marble bathroom with a large shower, small children's bath with overhead shower, enclosed toilet, bidet and basin, Hollywood lights and 6 person heated sunken spa.

As well as the main bathroom, we have a separate shower and separate toilet down the hall and off the main bathroom.

The master bedroom has an en-suite with shower and toilet and there is a bathroom in the Granny Flat, with a shower, bath and toilet.

There is a toilet off the kitchen and also and additional toilet in the games room, and studio, which makes 7 toilets in total.

LIVING AREAS & KITCHEN
The large living / lounge area has a log burning fireplace, triple and double sofa in front of the 75 inch TV, with Netflix, as well as an 8 person dining table in once corner and a piano in the other. This very large living space is parallel to the veranda with double glass sliding doors opening onto the patio with 14 person dining table and chairs.

The luxury modern kitchen is fully equipped with TV, double oven, induction hob, microwave, double American style fridge with ice dispenser, kettle, toaster any everything required to enjoy your stay as if it were your own home.

Off the kitchen there is access to the Laundry with a washing machine and dryer and the Powder room (toilet).

The kitchen also leads to the formal dining area with 6 person wooden table and the Family Room connected to dining room with TV and sofas.

GAMES ROOM & CINEMA
The wonderfully large retro Games Room is a separate part of the house connected by an undercover walkway. It is equipped with tournament sized billiard table, un-stocked bar, fridge/freezer, connecting cinema room with 100 inch screen and toilet.

POOL
The Family Room overlooks the pool area and has an undercover table and sofa. The pool is 3 metres deep up the deep end and offers guests hours of entertainment.

DEMOUNTABLE
When extra bedrooms and space is required, our 2 bedroom demountable is available.

THE STUDIO
The Studio is a 80sq metre funky space with a black and gold glittery floor, TV, sofa, fridge, toilet and aircon, suitable for workshops or games. Fancy playing ping pong? Ask us and we will set it up for your visit.

BALI HUT
There Pergola / Bali Hut with lights, electricity and water offers yet another facet to our big old house and we have been privileged to have a few guests host an intimate wedding on the property.

GARDENS
Finally we have the lovely gardens surrounding the house.

PARKING
Parking is available in the car port and on the large driveway.

We ask that all guests look after our beautiful home and keep the noise levels reasonable so as not to bother any of our wonderful neighbours. We also ask guest to car pool where possible to reduce road traffic.

Security camera's in operation at exit and entrance points for host and guest security.

STRICTLY NO PARTYS OR NOISY GATHERINGS of any kind! Guests that disrespect this rule will be evicted with loss of deposit and all booking fees.
