'I am so glad we found this place. It was exactly as portrayed: an historic (and idiosyncratic) small inn/hotel; not fancy, very straightforward; on the water in a wonderful location; a great kitchen punching way above its weight. But the best part was its staff. Warm, genuine. I felt cared about by every staff member I interacted with. Kudos.'

'This a beautiful location right near the ocean. We could sit on the porch and watch the sunset over the mountains and ocean. The apartment was well stocked and smelled amazing. We LOVED the bathroom. Perfect romantic getaway!!!'

'Eoin met us at the drive as the cottar is tucked away. He then proceeded to give us his family background and ideas for visiting. There was a stocked kitchen complete with wine and crackers and a cozy fire crackling when we arrived. The inside is a lot bigger than pictures do it justice and we enjoyed unplugging from life for a few days. The location of the cottar is very convenient to the co op, restaurants and anywhere in the island. Honestly, it was heaven!'

'Mooi oud hotel. Voor het geld wat ik er voor betaal verwacht ik echter wel knap uitzicht. Nu keken we op een plastic tank uit aan de zijkant van het hotel. Badkamer mag ook wel eens opnieuw gekit worden. Eten was ook behoorlijk aan de prijs. Een andere gast vroeg of hij voor het hele hotel moest betalen toen hij de rekening kreeg. Kortom de prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet. Omgeving is wel een aanrader.'

'The location is beautiful, the home modern and the host is so friendly (not to mention the chillest dog Brody who is just a handsome lad). There’s lovely little bar and restaurant a couple minutes up the road where you can grab dinner. Note - this part of the island is really away from it all which makes it wonderful. 'Completely overpriced for what you get. Breakfast at 30fbp per head for something very basic. Just go around the corner for a much nicer and cheaper breakfast. Broken items in the room, only 2 glasses and shower gel bottles for 4 guests....no usb key plugs when every single other hotel or youth hostel had them around the country.'
