'The home is very beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of space and great outdoor areas. Well appointed kitchen. Our children loved the big bath tub, hot tub, and beach. My only complaint is the owner showing up unannounced three times to work on the outside of the property (clean hot tub, water plants, etc.) over our 9-day stay. Otherwise communication with the host was great - she even went out of her way to accommodate a request.'

'Our family ranged in ages from 13 to 96. We were 12 people for a couple days and then 10. We all had a marvelous time and my mom just can’t stop talking about how beautiful the view and the antique furniture was. It was difficult for that many people only having two bathrooms, but we made it work. We did run out of hot water so we learned to scatter showers when possible. 'You don't need to bring a thing. The host Saleste Buckley is terrific. We lived her welcome basket that included fresh eggs. I usually bring a good knife and things to wrap left overs. All good here. The bed was comfortable. Nice Linens were appreciated., Outside patio was enjoyed. Location was what we wanted. Hate to say lots more or it will not available for my next stay. LOL '

We were coming from a family event in another state and found that even though this house was smaller in size, it was far better stocked with well-thought out amenities and helpful items for having a great stay. (One example: The other house lacked any place to hang a towel; we marveled that this house has a half-dozen different hooks or towel bars readily available for use.)
