Onbezorgd weekendje Porto
Mooi hotel in het oude centrum van Braga. Super centraal gelegen. Nabij allerhande terrasjes en eetgelegenheden. Hoewel de kamer aan de kleine kant was, was deze prima ingericht. En de badkamer had een heerlijke douche!

Clean and modern. Breakfast was decent. Right in the pedestrian center of the old city, so it's in a great location. There is a bit of noise from street in the evening.

Le lieu est vraiment jolie, mais le chauffage et la ventilation font un bruit de malade. L’insonorisation est vraiment à revoir. C’est dommage car cela gâche la nuit.

Absolutely loved our stay at Porta Nova in Braga and would definitely stay there again. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing restaurante, close to many cafes and other restaurants. Easy to walk to others parts of the city.

This is a unique and well designed hotel. Our room was small, but exceptional in design. The room offered two sides views of the square in front of the hotel—with balconies. Shutters on the inside kept noise out. The bathroom was very nice and the water pressure in the shower was great. The wooden floors were very nice.

Lovely hotel & room, modern, bright with very helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel is right in the centre of the old town where everything is in walkable distance. Perfect location. Rooms are very very small, so small that I could only walk sideways to pass my side of the bed. Same for the bathroom and same for the breakfast area. However, the room had all amenities you'd expect for a 3 star hotel and was so lovely and pleasant that it definitely made up for the small size. I would definitely recommend.

O Hotel não está entre hotéis de 4 estrelas, com exceção da localização. Os quartos são pequenos e a rececionista disse que todos eram do mesmo tamanho. Durante uma review de como ocorreu o check-in, eu disse pontos negativos sobre um barulho de equipamento ligado constantemente no quarto e que não se tratava de ar condicionado. Relatei que a cama fazia barulhos e não se tratava de duas camas individuais extra grandes como anunciado, eram camas de solteiro tamanho normal. O quarto não tinha um guarda-facto e espaço suficiente para organizar malas. Estava a chover e diferente de outros hotéis 4 estrelas que possuem serviços mais personalizados, eu pedi um chapéu de chuva para préstimo e a rececionista fez uma cara de espanto. Mesmo depois dos referidos comentários, a recepção sequer ofereceu pedido de desculpas pelas situações ocorridas. Únicos pontos positivos foram o edifício ser novo; a localização e a casa de banho ter bom tamanho.

Good hotel, small room.
The location of PNCH is fantastic, and the overall vibe of the place is nice. That said, my room (#300) was very small, and the bed was a modified sofa bed. It felt like it was supposed to be the lounge area for room 301 that shared a connecting door that the guests of 301 repeatedly tried to open, LOL. I was traveling solo on this trip, so having access to both sides of the bed wasn’t needed, but would have presented a challenge with another person in the room. The staff was pleasant but not overly accommodating - not fantastic but not terrible. The room was fairly well soundproof so the noise outside was not much of an issue. Overall, if you get a good deal on PNCH, it would be worth a stay, just avoid room #300.

Es difícil llegar en coche, hay que aparcar lejos e ir con las maletas andando, pues todo es zona peatonal. El desayuno es regular. La habitación es bonita y cómoda pero demasiado pequeña, no entran apenas las maletas y no hay un armario, solo una barra pequeña donde colgar 4 o 5 cosas. El primer día se nos inundó el baño simplemente por darnos una ducha, el agua llegaba hasta la habitación, una cosa exagerada.

The hotel was well located to easily access the main attractions, shopping and dining. Also walking distance to bus station (approx 10 min walk). The staff were friendly and even reserved our taxi driver for 5am on a Sunday morning to take us to the airport. It cost approx 66 Euros to cab from there to porto airport. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Would recommend and stay there again.

Amazing staff and a great hotel!
We enjoyed our stay. The room is small but the hotel is very cozy and it really shines because of its staff. Everyone we met was very nice. We were greeted and checked in by Jose Pedro. He was so welcoming, told us about the history of Braga, hotel and local traditions. He even walked with us outside to show where a bus stop is located. The staff can make or break the impression and with Jose this hotel shines! The hotel felt very cozy, the breakfast was very nice, all the typical breakfast items but I especially appreciated that it had oatmeal and fruits. We loved that we could enjoy our breakfast outside (if desired.) the location of the hotel is amazing- perfect for walking. During our stay there was an event going on but the windows were probably dual pane as we practically couldn’t hear any noise. Great stay!

Moderne Einrichtung, allerdings sehr eng und klein, sowohl das Zimmer als auch das Bad und das gesamte Hotel. Am Frühstücksbuffet passen keine zwei Personen nebeneinander, einige Gäste ohne Maske, war für die aktuelle Zeit unpassend. Großer 4K Fernseher mit erreichbaren HDMI Ports, stabiles Wifi. Absolut keine freien Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Não é um hotel 4 estrelas… está bem longe disso. É um hotel boutique. Fica muito bem localizado no centro histórico de Braga. Quando cheguei, não foi permitido deixar a minha mala no hotel, para iniciar o passeio… precisei esperar até o horário do checkin. Depois me disseram que havia depósito de malas… Café da manhã trivial. Hotel muito barulhento internamente. Vedação acústica para o lado de fora. Staffs muito educados.
