'Breakfast is a scam. They had a coffee machine and few muffins calling it breakfast. No kettles and coffee in the room. Enough it has a stove its absolutely useless. Unless you ask for kitchen utensils they dont provide. Even the the pans and pots they give is sub standard. Room is not clean. The carpets smell of mess and dampness. Ac was good though. Bed linen cleanliness is below average. Bathroom cleanliness and towels is fair. This doesn't deserve the distinction of a Hotel, the...

'My room was never cleaned the whole time I stayed there from 05/14 to 05/18. The bed was never changed. It was uncomfortable and quite disturbing. I asked one of the hotel staff up front why my room wasn't cleaned and I was told they only did every other day. The hotel staff was usually helpful and nice but some were not. 'They didn’t provide proper water drinking water'

'This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel.'

'Nice clean convenient location. Parking required the valet due to the offsite parking. That wasn’t too much of a hassle because the valet was fairly quick and responsive. The front desk staff was nice. And the location was great walkable to a great coffee shop down by the McDonald’s. I would stay here again. '
