We all had a fabulous time at The Lucky Dog for a family wedding. It was so nice to relax and just enjoy time together. Communication with our host was very easy and we had no issues during our stay. We loved seeing the history on how the house was built. None of us had ever stayed in a log house before and we will remember it for years to come. Thank you for making a lifetime memory for all of us!

Great place!

Bozeman Ski Trip

The cabin was even better that advertised, had plenty of space for all 16 of us, and the owners were very responsive. I would gladly stay here again!

Perfect house and amazing location!

My group loved the Lucky Dog Lodge. Plenty of room and bathrooms for a large group. Great location. Beautiful views and we got lucky with some amazing sunsets that you can watch from the hot tub. I cannot wait to come back!

A wonderful visit

My family had a great time. The lodge is spacious and enjoyable. If you are looking for a quiet place and an enjoyable home we nailed it. My grandsons thought it was fantastic.

Super Bowl Sunday!

We had so much fun at the Lucky Dog Lodge for super bowl Sunday! There was plenty of room for everyone and we had everything we needed, the hot spring is just a short drive away and felt so good to relax in. We will definitely be back next year!

Wedding weekend in Bozeman

Best set up for our 3 daughters and ourselves to celebrate a wedding. Great property and every amenity you could imagine. Loved the large backyard, beautiful decks, and well stocked kitchen!

Family Reunion

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Lucky Dog log home! It was well supplied with all the essentials and a lot of extras! The house was in a great location and the hot tub was a hit for our teenagers! Our family all expressed how it was the most well stocked place we have experienced to date.

A Wonderful Reunion

Everyone loved the Lucky Dog Lodge . We had several gatherings in the back and long dinner conversations in the family room . The bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated guests coming and going to different activities . The location in the neighborhood provided a warm atmosphere and there was easy access to town or roads to hiking and fishing adventures . Property owners amazing people living nearby .

This is a perfect getaway for fishing with a large group. The sleeping accamadations are superb for a large group like an extended family. The kitchen had everything you could need. The bathrooms were well supplied and the showers had good volume and plenty of hot water. The fishing was great.

Great Place!

Very clean, large space, instructions were clear from the owner. He even came out to help us when we had an issue with the lock which was resolved very quickly. Would stay there again.

Great for family reunion

The structure is amazing -- the massive logs used in construction and the skill in creating this four story (including basement), 6-bedroom blew us away. The owners and managers are terrific. The grounds large and the walk to the beautiful river is short. And the first floor living space -- great room and kitchen -- are terrific. We're all hoping for a repeat engagement.....bob

Fantastic property for large ski group

Our group of 7 avid skiers loved Luck Dog as our home base for 4 terrific days of skiing in Big Sky. The log cabin is spacious, clean, and well appointed for a large ski group. Staying in Bozeman is a far more economical option than Big Sky, and the 1 hour drive to Big Sky is easy and beautiful through the Gallatin River valley. Property management is fast to respond and very thorough.

Lucky Dog Lodge

We had a wonderful family vacation stay at Lucky Dog Lodge. The house had plenty of room for eight adults and five children. The property manager was helpful and responsive to our questions. The children loved playing in the Gallatin River. This is a lovely home for a large group that offers easy access to Yellowstone and other activities in the Bozeman area.

great place to celebrate graduation

Lucky Dog Lodge was a fantastic choice for us to stay while we celebrated our son's graduation from MSU. There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was great for making big breakfasts. The only issue we had was there were no bedrooms on the first floor although we did know about this ahead of time.

Best in Bozeman

Stayed at the Lucky Dog Lounge with my family (11) for a winter holiday and could not have been happier. Everyone in the family had their own space when needed and great community space when we wanted to be together. Perfect distance from Bridger Bowl and Big Sky Ski resorts for those of us that went skiing, and everything else in Bozeman is about 15 to 20 minutes away. I could not have been happier with the Lucky Dog Lounge. Thanks to the ownership for sharing!

Graduation 2024

We had an amazing experience! This property was perfect for our large family to celebrate MSU graduation. The outdoor amenities were perfect and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly imagine needing! The beds were comfy the number of bedrooms was awesome! The bathroom situation on the second floor was a little surprising, but it worked out fine once we got it figured out. Paul was very responsive in communication and great to work with!

Memorable and beautiful getaway

We will be back again! We are a well-traveled family, due to being in the military. The Lucky Dog Lodge was my absolute favorite place we have ever stayed. Our family had plenty of space and rooms and bathrooms. It seemed like someone put so much thought in things for the kitchen and bathrooms. We cooked there every night and had everything we needed. The LDL was so beautiful that the wedding photographer ended up taking some pictures of the bride inside and out. We hope to bring our entire family back for Christmas at the LDL one year.
