Walk in and welcome to Apartment Monolith. We welcome you at 1000 meters altitude in the heart of the Black Forest. Just a few steps from the forest and in the middle of nature, the barrier-free apartment offers plenty of space to relax, unwind and get together.

Ideal for couples and small families - and for everyone who wants to spend a relaxing break in the middle of the Black Forest. In the apartment Monolith you live on 50 m², with all-round luxurious furnishings in the charming Black Forest style. In this distinctive, stylish interior, overnight stays become an experience!

The 2020 newly built monolith owes its name to a solid construction, clear contours and the all-round wooden facade. The Siberian larch has not been painted and will turn gray over the years and reflect the face of a grown monolith. The sustainability of renewable resources was important to the architect. Coated wood means a lot of hazardous waste in a few years. But not with monoliths! Perfect to appreciate and maintain our environment.

Bathroom:
The newly furnished, spacious bathroom has an XXL rain shower that invites you to relax. Shampoo, shower gel, soap, towels, shower towels and a hair dryer are naturally part of the equipment in the Monolith apartment. The rustic vanity top brings the Black Forest to the bathroom and creates a cozy atmosphere. We invite you to feel comfortable here!

Kitchen:
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped. Cutlery, dishes, glasses, pots and all cooking utensils are a matter of course. Here the Black Forest hospitality scores. A refrigerator, an oven, an induction hob, a toaster, a kettle and a microwave for quick dishes are not missing. The dishwasher does the washing up for you. The entire house was rebuilt in 2020 and therefore has the latest standards. To make your day easier, a Nespresso coffee and espresso machine with basic capsules is available. You will not miss a variety of teas, as well as spices, vinegar and oil.

Living room:
Some walls of the living room and the kitchen were clad with 120-year-old, historical wooden floorboards from a Black Forest farmhouse. They bring comfort into the living space and form a Black Forest silhouette with many forest animals. Let yourself be surprised by the cozy lighting mood. The living room has a sofa bed. It can be converted into a bed in a few simple steps. A large Smart TV should not be missing for cozy evenings in the apartment. A small chest of drawers and a spacious living room cabinet offer space and storage space. Hand-planed wild oak country house floorboards were installed in the entire living, sleeping and kitchen area. The underfloor heating underneath guarantees a feel-good factor. Sun or snow? The weather station informs you about the current weather situation so that you can plan your stay with outdoor activities.
For those who are accommodated in the apartment for professional purposes, there is fast internet with its own free WiFi and an additional 4 separate network sockets. Here you can work with confidence and use the full bandwidth. A lot of sockets were installed in the entire apartment. There is also a USB double socket, for example, to charge your smartphones directly and without a power plug.

bedroom
The large, 160 cm wide box spring bed takes you to the land of dreams. The bedroom can be separated from the living room by 2 large sliding doors. If you prefer to be open, you don't need to close the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors. In the large and spacious wardrobe with a large mirror, all your clothes can be stored. You do not have to worry about bed linen, pillows and blankets, because they are part of the basic equipment. There is also a safe in the bedroom that can be used at no additional cost.

Garden / outside:
Attention: The monolith is a new building. The garden and the area in front of the front door has not yet been created and designed. The outdoor facility is expected to be completed in May 2020.
From May 2020:
The apartment Monolith has a spacious garden compartment with a beautiful, new garden lounge. A mild summer evening in the Black Forest invites you to relax. Perfect for barbecuing, soaking up the sun and enjoying the peace and quiet at the edge of the forest. There is a small playground on the opposite side of the street. Here children can enjoy themselves in the immediate vicinity.

Barrier-free apartment:
The new apartment was specially designed for the needs of physically challenged people. The apartment on the ground floor has no steps, everything is easily accessible by wheelchair: from the street to the apartment. There are no conventional double doors in the apartment, only sliding doors. This makes it easier for every visitor to access the individual rooms. Accessibility in the bathroom is also provided by a floor-level XXL shower and a washbasin that can be driven under.
