'The food was very good (ham was delicious!) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub had a nice friendly feel, too. Plenty of on site parking and it felt clean. The only minor quibble was the tv screen in our room was abs tiny (small). Overall, was good value.'

Plenty of parking, nice areas to sit and relax in and out of rooms. Immaculately clean. Good spot from which to walk cycle and tour. Quiet but not remote. In room refreshments aplenty and generous bathroom consumables including towels. Room airy, air con perfect given heatwave we encountered, shower big powerful and very nice. Bed huge and super comfy....

'Different experience traveling from the US- shared bathroom, check-in at the bar in the adjacent restaurant, modestly lit path along the side of the building to the hallway door that led to the rooms.'

'Excellent pod had all the amenities you could need. Very quiet, and lovely sitting out on the deck over the large pond with a glass of wine. The owner came passed and was very chatty and helpful suggesting where to fish. I think our only annoyance would be the skylight above the bed didn’t have a blackout blind so was very light at 4 in the morning, but great for seeing the stars. Would definitely go back.'
