The apartment is in a good location and it has a great balcony which we used every night during our stay.
But, the wifi was terrible. Even plugging directly into the unit made it barely passable. My husband and I ended up spending a good part of our trip in coffee shops (which were not very close to the apartment) just to get our required work done. The payment process was a complete mess. We continued to receive emails asking for additional payment even through we were fully paid up. Lastly, the entry way to the apartment complex has a metal gate that requires a key to BOTH enter and exit. To be fair, from the looks of the gate, this may be a standard feature in Bordeaux, but it made me feel extremely unsafe and uneasy that in the case of an emergency (like a fire), I would need a key to open the gate in order to actually exit the building.
