Just the Getaway We Needed
We had a fantastic 3-day stay! This cozy cabin is clean, with all the basics you need, including a charcoal grill. It's nestled into the quiet countryside yet conveniently close to town. The rooms and furnishings are laid out well in the small space, so as to keep an open feel without being too minimalistic. The hot tub and other facilities/utilities worked great. Anyone complaining about the stairs to the bedrooms clearly didn't pay attention to the description or reviews - while steep, they are totally manageable and aptly described for potential guests who might require a place with different accommodations instead. The pond is really right out the back door, and so peaceful; there are even a few seats placed around it, as well as a picnic table which comes in handy for fishing and other supplies. In this part of Boone, beware of 3-way stops, and a stretch of Bamboo Road that turns to dirt with giant potholes. Great hiking trails within just a couple miles of the cabin, too. The hosts were kind and quick to answer any queries we had.
