The Local's Scoop

This fully equipt tiny house living dwelling is meticulously cute and waiting to help you create lasting Boise memories. It is located in Boise's historic North End in biking distance to downtown, walk or bike to 100s of miles of trails in the Boise foothills and enjoy the greenbelt path, a mile away, that meanders along the beautiful Boise River. Only a few minutes drive to Garden City, home to a bursting craft beverage scene. If you want something in the middle of everything, this is it! Super responsive host (me, Kate! :) who wants to help you have a stellar time in Boise!

Cozy Getaway
This place in the North End of Boise is quiet, cozy and well-appointed. You can tell a lot of thought and love went into decorating and outfitting this cute studio apartment in Boise. I loved the decor and finishes, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. I love the bathroom floor tile and might try to find something similar when we remodel our bathroom at home! The bed was comfortable, although a little smaller than a queen. The deck was great to enjoy some wine at the end of our night. It was easy to find, check-in and check-out was seamless. The host was a great communicator via messaging on the VRBO site. We were sorry we only got to stay one night and hope to stay again for longer when we return. Thank you!

Boise fun in the sun!
I spent a week playing in the Boise area with my college girl. We had such a great time taking in all that Boise has to offer. My stay at The Local’s Scoop was the perfect location to rest my head each night. It is so cute and comfortable, the bed was perfection, and the location can’t be beat. I would definitely stay again!

Great little getaway!
Super cute place with an almost treehouse vibe! This spot had everything I wanted for my stay and more (including AC which I was not expecting but thankful for on a 98 degree day). Kitchen was well-stocked and had lots of counter space to work. Check in and check out were super easy. Would totally stay there again!

Great Stay in Boise!
Didn’t get to interact with the hosts much, loved the space which includes a washer, dryer, full kitchen and AC! Plenty of light and sunshine illuminated the place. It is a ten minute ride from downtown which has some neat places to visit. This is more in the country and the norm to have some little buggies inside, best to leave light outside turned off and close the door immediately to avoid them coming indoors. All and all enjoyed this spot and the ample parking provided.

Stayed 7 days in this perfect, cozy, little apartment above a garage. Very bright, lots of windows, tall ceilings, charming. Well-stocked kitchen, Keurig coffee maker, etc. Albertson's is very close. Fun time in Boise !

My daughter and I stayed one night while touring BSU. It was a quick car ride to the college and downtown. Kate's place was easy to find, had great parking, CLEAN and super cute. We had a little hiccup that happened but Kate was AMAZING and handled it promptly and professionally. I would definitely stay here again and most likely will! Thank you, Kate

Good times.
Cute place. Nice, quiet neighborhood location. Everything is clean and comfortable. Nicely appointed kitchen. It is on the 2nd floor with outside staircase leading up to it. Host communication can be improved. No actual address was given in the instructions (took neighbor’s house number from the listing picture and plugged into google maps). The entry code wasn’t sent until after we arrived at the property and called/texted the owner and waited 15 minutes. All the anxiety could have been easily avoided if the code was e-mailed/texted earlier that day. All that said the owner had some unusual circumstances (having a baby?) so hopefully this is an exception and not the rule.

This property was in an excellent location. I wish I would have found and booked it before I booked hotels for us previous nights. The kitchen and laundry make it a superb spot to hunker down for a few days during travel. Kate was highly responsive and helpful. Plus, this little place is a gem. So cheery!

One of the nicest little homes we have stayed at while traveling and we travel quite a bit. Everything we could have needed was there, everything was spotless, everything was labeled and the owners even provided lists of local restaurants and places of interest. Well designed, but with a small bed for two people
The apartment is very attractive. It could be even better than it was if there was a queen size bed instead of the double bed. Also, it would be nice if there was a little more room available to quests in the closet. All and all it is a very nice small space that is well designed and attractive. The microwave needed some attention on the inside, but for the most part, the apartment was quite clean.
