'The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mold and some parts of the room was also covered in mold. There was no ceiling lights and we had to use 3 lamps and the bathroom to make light. You would wake up early morning from the sound of the cleaning cart going over above your room it’s so loud. The pillows were small they looked like throw pillows not regular ones you’d sleep on, the staff was really sweet and the air conditioning worked well! The breakfast was really simple pancakes, yogurt...

'Where do I begin? The staff is friendly. Location is convenient. Beds comfortable and sheets were very nice. Pets are welcomed, which is wonderful. The housekeeper cleaned our room after 1st night stay. Pleasant surprise. With that said, As you initially walk in, there is a strong odor of cherry fragrance and a fan blowing near the entry way. I never noticed the fan until the next day. We stayed on the third floor and as soon as you got off the elevator, ALL we could smell was a strong odor...

'The airport shuttle wasn't available at the time of our stay, which was the one of the main reasons for booking this resort. Didn't find out til the day before departure, upon placing a call to the resort to confirm shuttle, and was given a couple other options one being not available and the other outrageously expensive. Ended up booking an Uber the day before that was over 30minutes out when arriveing at the airport, had to cancel and rebook another driver, and was charged a cancelation fee...

'I fell asleep with my laptop in the bed on top of the covers. I woke up and saw a little bug crawling across the top. A little while later I opened the laptop and it was invested with those same little bugs! '

'The hotel is very clean and the furnishings are modern. The staff were very courteous and breakfast and the rooftop bar/restaurant were great. The location is perfect - views of the Peace River and lots of restaurants and bars located close by, including Fisherman’s Village. '

'A must stay if you are in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area. The house was spotless and had everything you needed for a homelike feeling. Spacious and well equipped with the necessities for everyday comfort in a quiet neighborhood. Close to main road with access to shopping and restaurants. Better than an "extended stay" hotel.'
